I heard Littleproud said "bugger the banks" in some populist flourish.

Shame though that no one asked him to reconcile this sentiment with him being part of a government that wants to lavish these same banks with billions in tax breaks.

Well - I did say 'slick', didn't I .....

The sanctimonious, narrow-minded Left believe concern for the evironment is their sole province.

What are the conservatives doing ? Apart from advocating coal and wanting to walk away from renewables and giving polluters money to ……… pollute via direct action

All Australia would be happy for you to pay their electricity bills till they become as cheap as they once were under just coal and hydro.

Roll Eyes  How many times, O Lord?  The prices shot up following 'privatisation' and then climbed again... nothing to do with the start-up costs of new technology.  Feeding multiple business people to do what was done by one set of government people was never going to produce lower or even equal costs, same as roads, gas, buses, trains and every other 'privatised to create more efficiency' utility.

A correct term for it is highway robbery....

This, UNFORTUNATELY, highlights left/right political divide on conservation, the environment and climate change

The left want to act

The right want to be SEEN to act
