Feline pests imported from overseas into Australia kill 377 million birds each year.  That's over a million birds each day killed for sport by our furry little kitty cats.  Considering these figures, I suggest you be a bit more polite to parrots before they all get eaten by human toys.

What's wrong with "get more of the money you earn"? Underpayment and wage theft are rampant and the government is doing bupkis.

That is about finding a better job.  This is about tax, is it not?

Depends on what your definition of 'penalty rates' might be, doesn't it?

If you think "finding a better job" is the solution to dealing with thieving employers, you really have no idea. That's like telling a shopkeeper to open a shop in a better area if they suffer lots of shoplifting.

How do you draw that conclusion?  I really have no idea.

You are saying tax reform shouldn't be considering the changing workplace environment?

Of course, but you can't define the workplace environment and how or even if it's changing let alone if a tax system should bother trying to reflect that so why should anyone bother doing your homework?

Yes it is not easy to define 'the workplace' thesedays is it?  Maybe if we do our best to understand the meaning of the thread title, we can forget about this mysterious workplace where nobody understands what the term 'penalty rates' really means, and get with the tax cuts.  Why look a gifthorse in the mouth?

It appears that you are having some trouble controlling your emotions before posting replies.  Is there something which has made you unhappy today?
