Mexico is re-colonising certain southern states. They'll eventually lose a few states there.

Maybe they wish to restore the old borders of the Mexican Empire???

There have been plenty of Mexican people in high positions saying that very thing in the sates and Mexico. The demographics in Arizona, Texas and California certainly support that theory. I'm sure Trump and his people are aware of this and his immigration changes are a reaction.

Mexican reactionaries??? I'd be very surprise if they are publicly saying this sort of thing??

I actually wouldn't mind a restoration of the Mexican Empire; it'd make America weaker in general, and would actually restore the American mainland to its true original owners.

I think while we're at it, let's bring the Colony of Louisiana back to the French in America.
They are. There's some on youtube. Look it up. If Mexico took over those states they'd turn it in to the 3rd world. And I doubt white America is willing to give up a big piece of it's land. That's why Trump is upping their military presence on the border. Southern California is practically Mexico now. Most of the leaders are Mexican who have their alligences towards Mexico. That's a bad turn of events. There might be a war brewing???

I doubt there will be a war.

I hope not. Plenty of wars have been fought over encroaching borders.

America is completely farked - they've always been a divided nation with massive social problems. They would've been better off under the British.

It's the United States of America, not the United Regions of America.

Sorry fella, that's your opinion, & you're entitled to it, but America belongs to the Americans & the Americans only, & they kinda like it just the way it is, & wouldn't have her any other way.

They like individual States Rights, & a Federal Government that, because of the Bill of Rights (the first 10 Amendments to the US Constitution), stays out of their lives & leaves them alone. They like the Freedoms & Liberties they have come to cherish. They like the 50 Stars & 13 Stripes on their flag, & they won't be changin' that any time soon......for you, or anyone else.  People sometimes think they are uncivilized, but frankly they just don't give a damn what those people think, or better yet what the world thinks of their 'uncivilized' way of life.  Wink

That's your opinion and that's fine. But let me say this, too many small jurisdictions means that said jurisdiction won't have the financial resources to support itself adequately.

Let's take healthcare for example: Wyoming could never have enough financial resources to create for itself a universal healthcare system; whereas New York State could. Wyoming therefor has to rely on the Federal government more.

Therefore, having too many States actually has the opposite effect to what Federalists want - it only serves to enlarge the centralised government, not to reduce it.

Well, when the Queen is dead, & that's just around the corner, & Chucky dons her jewels, Australia will drop out of the Commonwealth & become a Republic.....England won't be able to support it's socialistic habits....like M.T. said, Socialism always fails when they run out of other people's money. Bye-Bye NHS......the EU won't be bailin' out your sorry asses no matter how hard ya beg to get back in!

Haha.

Sure, we might become a Republic, but we'll still retain the Westminster system, and not your basket-case presidential system.

And we don't need the EU to bail us out or anyone else.
