‘Justice for Christine Holgate’: Hanson secures Senate inquiry into Australia Post watch fiasco
Quote:
Senator Hanson wants the inquiry by the Senate communications committee to help reinstate Ms Holgate to the top job, claiming she “never officially resigned” from Australia Post.

“She wants her job back. She never resigned. She went in to see the chair, she handed him a statement saying ‘listen we need to come to some ending with it’,” Senator Hanson told Sky News on Wednesday.

However, a close confidante of Ms Holgate, who declined to speak on the record, said Senator Hanson’s understanding of the events were not accurate.

“Christine tendered her resignation. She does not consider herself employed by Australia Post. She could not work with that board again,” the source said.

Rather typical.  Listens to what she was last told, rather than finding out the reality of the situation...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Rather like you listening to your own propaganda instead of what everyone else tells you - that you are an ignorant imbecile.

Why are you a Bwianesque idiot?  Contact a psychiatrist to talk it over. You shouldn't be self-revealing like this on a public platform.

You don't bother reading the article properly numpty

“There was a lot of confusion throughout the committee stage,” One Nation industrial relations spokesman Senator Malcolm Roberts said. “Even experienced government ministers were confused and we witnessed Senator [Stirling] Griff puzzled about his own amendments.

“We’d like to see the remaining schedules reintroduced to the Senate in the next sitting period for debate,” Senator Roberts said last week. “Only then will One Nation’s support of [the wage theft laws in] schedule five be understood.”

On Wednesday Senator Roberts clarified One Nation did not vote against the underpayment provisions by mistake. “We voted on the understanding that all the other schedules, apart from Schedule one [which dealt with casual employment], will be coming back as a package,” he said.

Why do you always get carried away with your own prejudices?

Germany to restrict AstraZeneca use in under-60s over clots

German health officials have agreed to restrict the use of AstraZeneca’s coronavirus vaccine in people under 60, amid fresh concern over unusual blood clots reported in a tiny number (probably larger than tiny) of those who received the shots

I remember in 1997, I did food deliveries for a company. On the night that Pauline Hanson came to Rockhampton to talk to the baby boomers about Asians "takin' yer jerbs" and the indigenous "livin' the high life off of taxpayers", we had all these protestors show up to make a name for themselves. That zany, unblinking look in the protestors' expressions was unbelievably loony. I did a delivery over town that night. The number of protestors that stepped off the footpaths and walked with reckless abandon into traffic, it left me with no choice but to stay put for a minute whilst these entitlement pricks got in the way. The next night, there was the usual news article showing protestors ranting and raving with police and security.

But the obsessive nonsense of stalking Pauline to get her to shut up was enough to encourage people to start supporting her.

Meanwhile, Brian goes off to defend Muslim thugs because there are good Muslims out there. But, he cannot bring himself to the doublethink of condemning Pauline Hanson because good conservatives in Australia do not count in redeeming Pauline's politics.

Anyone who would protest over gollywog dolls is, as the poet said, a bum.
