What do you think happens when a box craps out?
Is it
a) magically repairs itself
b) throwm on the tip, because there is an endless supply of boxes and money for replacements
c) a civilian TV repair man is called in to work it
d) they are repaired at ILM & DLM maintenance squadrons.
I did explain this last time fkkhead, you crapped on with this until you eventually gave up a defeated fkkwit. The situation hasn't changed since last time.

Now back to worshiping the gook killer, champ.
The black boxes were sent back to the USA for repair.
They were not repaired here -
not by you - not by anyone here.
Jeezus, there are not enough crayons to explain just how stupid you are with that comment.

None of that is true, who ever told you that was lying to you or had as much understanding of the RAAF F111 maintenance program as you do.
Just as an side, there were hundreds of tradesmen and women in 4 squadrons at Amberley maintaining the F111, what do you think they did if not repair the avionics packages?
By the way this is about your mate the Gook Killer not about me, do try to stay on your own track
BigOl,
I know what they did -
they plugged a test computer into a connector inside the cockpit -
it would go through a complete automatic test procedure -
& it would tell them which black box was faulty.
The maintenance crew would then change out that box
by unplugging its connectors.
The F111 also had a monitoring computer that would tell the pilots where faults were and how critical they were.
The information from that would tell them if a mission could go ahead or if they had to return to base for repairs.
They wouldn't have let a chump like you play around inside one of those black boxes.
