This thread doesn't target Karnal.
It's about all posters here who claim military service.

No it is just about karnal and his claims of bravery, you put it right in the title.

The fact that it was one of the aircraft that I maintained during my RAAF career.

Not that huge of a claim, many thousands of maintainers did so as well, over the 30 odd years it was in service.

Did you ever maintain choppers in Vietnam BigOl?

Well I was born in'64 and 9 SQN departed operations in Vietnam in '71 so as a 7 year old I did not maintain choppers in Vietnam.

I did maintain those very same choppers in 9 SQN in the 80's but.

A real veteran - sorry, "service" veteran.

Yeah. Some of us have posted our achievements. Hole refuelled planes in Butterworth and marches in the Butterworth Squadron every ANZAC Day.
