They were stopped outside the arena, chanting: "Always was, always will be Aboriginal land" and "No justice, no Games", while re-branding the event as the "Stolenwealth Games".

Perhaps we need a proper war to sort it out once and for all.
Right on the mark FD, imo.
IMO, we only 'owe' anyone [
everyone] in this country,
an equal opportunity.
NO ONE [no sane
or reasonable person] has any right to expect 'equal outcomes' for everyone,
imo.
???
Many/some Aboriginal people are their own worst enemies, imo.
e.g.
1/ If mainstream Australians intervene, within Aboriginal communities [to help in welfare and management], mainstream Australian society is often accused [by some Aboriginal 'agitators'] of being 'paternalistic',
and of stifling the rights
AND SELF DETERMINATION, of Aboriginal people.
2/ But
alternatively, in instances when mainstream Australians allow Aboriginals and Aboriginal communities to govern and manage themselves,
mainstream Australians are the ones who are blamed for the
too often appalling outcomes,
in individual welfare, in high rates of crime [incest rape of women and their own children and relatives, and drunken criminality, of illicit drug taking and dependency], and often of
widespread managerial corruption in their 'self-governance'.
....and on and on and on.
'Perhaps we need a proper war to sort it out once and for all.'Yes, perhaps we do.
Just so, everyone recognises who
the winners and
the strong are.
And who
the weak, and
the flawed, and
the defeated are.
???
And maybe, they [Aboriginals], should stop their 'insurgency' [against mainstream Australia and Australians] ?
And instead, be grateful for,
and recognise, their 'peoples' equal opportunity in this country.
