What you are discussing is precisely a point of contention over the unequal treatment of Aboriginals when they are handed portions of 'crown' land on demand - not a point in their support at all.

The Queensland Police Service said they respect the right of people to protest lawfully and peacefully in Queensland but will not tolerate disruptive behaviour during the Commonwealth Games and associated events."

When does one rate as aboriginal?

I did note that he was a White Boy masquerading as a Black so he could play up and play the victim.... was waiting for someone to comment on that.

My free settler forebears arrived here in the 1850's - countless numbers fought in wars for this nation and worked and built and created businesses and so forth... and have taken a lot of sh1t for doing so from misguided twerps in politics and certain other groups...

In all that somewhere I'm beginning to consider that MY lot have a very serious claim on OUR nation and such... and we have not yet forfeited OUR sovereignty either.... especially to a bunch of layabouts who stir trouble and make threats of war so as to garner hefty cash from whatever they wish to claim - all of it the good stuff, mind you - nobody wants that tract of waterless desert out there.... but they sure as hell want the headlands around the ocean front as 'sacred sites' and 'traditional sites' etc.....

I wouldn't mind a bit of headland property myself....... or the opportunity to charge fees to climb AYERS ROCK or enter a few other prime spots........ Roll Eyes

I doubt they could afford the stadium at Carrara they are protesting at - BTW - how much did those fine signs cost at that protest? Where'd they get the money for those?
