It's OUR money. Not yours. HANDS OFF!!!
Yes and you can tell your fund manager to not invest in foreign or US ventures if you want, put the whole lot into 'cash' if it makes you happy.
It's your super only you can determine where it is invested so calm your tits little lady.
If it must be appropriated at all, it must be spent in Australia. We have waiting lists for public housing as long as 15 years, a lot of people on hospital waiting lists, chronic traffic congestion problems in our major cities and other unaddressed problems.
Why propose to spend it in the USA because the US isn't raising enough taxes to pay for its own infrastructure? This is nuts. If you had any brains at all, you would see this.
A much less controversial way to use the money is to buy bonds. Super funds already do this.
But your super isn't being appropriated, unless you want it to.
Second public housing is a sh1t investment if you are looking for a decent return, if some idiot tried that with my super it would the the last conversation we would have. I want a decent return on investment, building a hugely expensive property filled with people earning fkk all money and paying even less, is NOT an investment I want.
So once again, YOU control your super, not the Boogey Man aka Turnbull, if do not want to invest in US infrastructure you don't have to.
I control m super and I would NEVER invest in public housing
