They have been selling EV's but mostly Hybrids which is still a step in the right direction. Smiley

The difference between hybrids and EVs is huge. You cannot even try and put them in the same column. What makes hybrids and particularly plug-in ones is that you get almost all the advantages of EVs and none of the disavantages.

Yes and that is what the article is saying, bmw  are saying they have sold all the ev's to look green when in reality they haven't that's a nice sum up of what I posted Long Wink Wink

your entire idiotic position seeks to equate hybrids and EVs in the same column when they are not even remotely the same.

Hehe u do love to try and win me over with insults  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
Makes your points SOOO much better.
If only u could read u would see I agreed with u in the post before Wink Wink
They usually lump BEV FCEV and PHEV in these things as the main propushion is a electric motor.
Ohh I didn’t know I had a position, I was pointing out the diferance of a HEV and a PHEV that’s all anything else is just you projections  Wink Wink Wink

you just want to pretend that EVs are 'the wave of the future' and 'everyone is buying them', when in fact very few people are buying them and even fewer plan to buy them. They love to TALK about them in vapid evangelistic terms - like you - but rarely get around to actually buying them.

But hybrids with petrol engines plus electric motors is the actual wave of the future because EVERYONE can use them because they dont have recharge/range anxiety and they have the use of petrol. Best of both worlds... which any zealot will naturally abhor.

https://insideevs.com/plug-in-electric-car-sales-in-europe-increased-in-april-by...

The European plug-in electric car market is expanding at its fastest pace since summer of 2017, as sales increased by 62% year-over-year in April.
In total, nearly 28,000 new plug-ins were registered at a decent 2.2% market share. Most of the growth comes from all-electric models (up 86%), while plug-in hybrid sales grew by 43%.

Since Tesla showed the world that electric cars don't have to be golf buggies, sales just keep getting more and more, almost every manufacturer of electric vehicals have a huge backlog, Chevy in Canada a year wait, VW and Hyundai have stopped taking orders... All this with the dealers actively trying to stop ppl buying them.... Ahh nice quit vehicle's to drive in and never having to go to a gas station unless its a really long trip  Wink Wink

I have no problem if you buy an EV. You sure do like to make stuff up about what I say. Of course at that price it may be in your price range.

I won't buy one. 300km wouldn't get me to perth. Wink

I thought it was their build line that was at fault as to why they can't make "enough" of them.
