Let's face it, window lickers contribute nothing to society and are a burden on the taxpayer so should there be mandatory abortion when it's detected in the womb?

It would be a better outcome for everyone, including the drooler.

That would devastate the body politic in this and other western nations....... what would they choose from?  Anyone with half a mind and 90% sanity is far too radical and selfless for them to survive in the under-heated, under-worked halls of political power.....

Having reviewed some of those who've done me injury in this lifetime, I am left with the conclusion that each and every one is mentally deficient in some way, some being quite insane.

Yet it is those kinds who seek to climb the stairways of - not power, because power without constraint is abuse pure and simple - but unmitigated control over others.  That in itself is a form of insanity.

As a former company commander of the US 1st Division said about his company and another being massacred, and the attitudes of the leadership leading up to that - first it begins with a small arm wound - that's OK, get on with it - then it becomes 'so you're hit badly - get on with it' - then it becomes 'oh, so your buddy's dead - just get on with it'.......after a time people lose perspective, and it is a very strong individual who can resist the siren call of control/abuse. He objected to the course of action he was ordered to follow that day, and was shamed into accepting it by hints of cowardice - and his men and another company's paid the price.

You see it in police officers, judges, managers, politicians, jihadists - people of all walks of life who have so forgotten their humanity that they are not even aware that they have become the abuser and thus a criminal often backed up by law.

As a result, the entire society suffers for the insanity of promoting the insane. 

It's not just the NAZIs and the Stalinists etc who are to blame - Orwell had it right - it is right here and now, and is nothing in the extreme at all, but the way things are.
