Look at the stats for the US and Switzerland

regards the connection between gun-ownership and mass slayings.

The author's premise doesn't hold up.

link

It's not the gun-culture that's the culprit but the overall violence found in the US entertainment industry.

Swiss have conscipription as well. Not that every soldier is right in the head but it gives you some discipline early on in life.
Basic life skills, and a total different life to the slums and ghettos of yanky land.

I would be happy to be unarmed, as long as everyone else was too inc world gov....but....they're not.  Grin

Why has there been a delay in releasing the autopsy reports from Las Vegas shooter, the coroner claims it hasn't been finalised yet the offender was cremated a long time ago.

Judge orders release of Las Vegas shooting autopsy reports

Updated January 30, 2018 - 6:26 pm
A District Court judge on Tuesday ordered the Clark County coroner’s office to release the autopsy reports of Stephen Paddock and the 58 people he killed in the Oct. 1 Las Vegas massacre.
But as of late Tuesday, Clark County Coroner John Fudenberg had not complied with the order. He indicated he wouldn’t release Paddock’s autopsy report until it was “finalized.”

“I don’t believe this is consistent with what the court ordered,” said Las Vegas attorney Maggie McLetchie, who represents the Las Vegas Review-Journal and The Associated Press in their November action demanding the release of the reports. “They (the coroner’s office) have delayed this for too long, and whatever stage the coroner’s report on Paddock is in, it should be provided to the Review-Journal and Associated Press without further delay. No more games. Release the records.”

Review-Journal Editor-in-Chief Keith Moyer added: “The shooter’s body was cremated Dec. 21. How can the autopsy report not be ‘finalized’ when the body was cremated more than five weeks ago? The law is squarely on the side of the public’s right to open government.”

New Zealand has had no mass shootings since 1997 they allow all the scary guns we banned in 1996, it's easier cheaper and quicker to buy a silencer in NZ compared to the USA.
The gun grabbers never cite the success of New Zealand gun laws because they allow all the scary black semi autos with silencers that cause the bedwetting gun grabbers t crap their pants with fear.

Rubbish.... absolute rubbish to link movie violence with actual violence...  if that was the case me and my friends would have killed off most of Australia by now in the most brutal ways.

In fact there are some that say the violence etc in movies help release tensions in some people making them less violent etc.

Seeing the fact that Australians have less censorship than Americans, and that we watch more violent movies than Americans, the idea would be that Australia is more violent than America. But it is not.

Guns don't kill people, people kill people.

More to the point, CULT followers kill people

In that simple statement above you can insert many CULT weapons

.......... don't kill people, the CULT kills people.
Insert
Guns
Cars
Trucks
Aeroplanes
Fertilizer
Knives
Brick walls
Tall buildings
Rocks
Etc etc

Yep, the CULT that just keeps killing and killing.

Well it's not movies or TV shows, many of which are based on books BTW.  Let's burn some books eh...  Macbeth might be a good start plenty of violence in that one...  or Hamlet maybe Wink

OMG think of all those psycho kids because they watched Bugs bunny....

DC Paula McIntyre : What's odd about it? If you show violence on TV it promotes violence.

Dr. Tony Hill : Oh yeah? What shows did Jack the Ripper watch?

The Swiss are a reasonable and practical people (albeit a bit odd) and true lovers of freedom, unlike the Americans who simply hide behind the fig leaf of *freedom."
