I'll repeat myself.
I am waiting till the Chinese can sell me a new electric car for
under $20K with a 10 year warranty on the battery.
Maybe it will be 2 to 5 years from now?
I am hoping my present car will last till then.

I doubt it will be an Australian company that can meet that price range.

Does it have a plug so you can charge it up ? No it doesn't so you still have to take it up the arse at the fool bowser and get ripped off on parts and service.

It wouldn't take much for Toyota to produce a plugin hybrid and give the public some decent electric range but they won't of course. They know that the public would be trying to get as much out of it on its electric range capability.
