Do you think modern Muslims are a mindless collective?

Are Australians a mindless collective? Are Americans a mindless collective? How do you know?

Why not judge people as individuals?

There's nothing that promotes individuality under the precepts of Islam.

Stray from the Group Think and you'll soon find your currency as an 'individual' being threatened until you re-join the Herd.

Whether that be true or no, why aren't WE judging them as individuals?

So whether some Muslims do something is irrelevant to whether it is correct to use the plural to describe what those Muslims do?

Did you use the plural in response to what you've heard a collective of muslims say, or simply by what you heard me say?

If I quoted a single jew being what I perceived as evasive and made a sweeping statement with words to the effect of "here you can see that jews (plural) are sneaky and evasive" - what would be your reaction? All kosher?

Quote:
Outlawing the enemy's uniform - hijab, islamic beard - is not depriving one's own people of their freedoms.

It's true.

If at your age you still haven't worked out that criticism and disapproval of a person's religion has absolutely nothing to do with race, then you're a hopeless id iot.

Where did I say anything about racism, or accuse anyone of being racist?

Would you argue that whether Jews are sneaky and evasive is irrelevant to whether Jews are sneaky and evasive?

You are not the only Muslim who has difficulty answering questions Gandalf. Abu and Falah behaved similarly. But you get upset when I quote them. In any case, you are a good example to use.

Does getting upset make one less able to debate?

Have you never been offended?

It is not correct FD. And the fact that some muslims may or may not act the same way is completely irrelevant to why you are not correct.

I don't recall being offended, but I'm sure I have been. And yes, getting emotional does tend to make people worse at debating, though some people are skilled at using emotional manipulation as an alternative to rational argument.

Is there a point to this?

My point is: why are belaboring on about this whole Islam thing with Gandalf. You seem hell-bent on trying to get Gandalf to come to your point of view.

Are you seriously contending that is in any way similar to this rubbish?

Let's start with a straight answer. Eh?
