Only 3579 of the 11,305 surrendered firearms were handed in to the Police for destruction or registration, the vast majority of guns surrendered were handed in to Licensed firearm dealers which means they can be sold and registered.

Why have the vast majority of illegal guns been handed in to firearm dealers do the criminals prefer to avoid the Police?

Since these guns surrendered can be legally registered it's bullshit to say every surrendered gun is one less is society. Roll Eyes
