With the surge in the number of EVs money will be spent on its weakest part, the battery. Major progress will be made, lighter, quicker to recharge batteries will be developed.

How about when they catch  fire and explode?  Got a solution for that too?

Or as usual is the solution a plea for MORE TAX PAYERS DOLLARS!

Putting water on Lithium battery fires doesn't put the fire out.

I guess you need off street parking to consider with owning an electric car, can you imagine people tripping over extension cords on the footpath.

I love how conservatives all think the same. The schtick about extension cords on the footpath is a common one.

Where do those who live in units without off street parking like many areas of inner city Sydney plug these thing in?

Leftists and the Ayatollahs have a lot in common when it comes to criticism of Islam, they don't tolerate it.

How many of these charging stations are there?

What happens if they're all full when you arrive with a flat battery do you have to wait hours to start charging?

Think you will find they will be ubuiquitous. I have seen two car parks have spaces for EVs where they can recharge.

Oh, and how are they gonna be recharged without coal fired base load.....more diesel generators like in SA?

Not coal, sorry.

No, we need to reduce emissions. That is what “less carbon pollution means.”

A move to renewable energy and EVs will have lovely side benefits like cleaner air and quieter cities.

You are full of it.  Show me one city polluted with carbon dioxide.

Oh, so now we need to build nuclear power stations...... EF me, heres a novel idea, lets just build them now, and forget about all this other rubbish, as if anyone wants to drive around in a golf cart,  sure would save a lot of tax payers dollars straight up.

Have you gone outside to check on the level of carbon dioxide pollution yet?  I want clear photos of this insidious pollution, hovering above our cities, hope it isnt too noisy outside there with all those cars going by.....oh thats right, in SA people are too poor to drive on account their power bills are the highest in the world.

This people is just the beginning of what these twats will do to us. Converting wealthy nations into welfare states.

At least I'm funny. I'll take stupid as a badge of honor from someone with all the education and degrees like you. Still cant tie a shoelace can you.

The only internal combustion engines running in the welfare state of SA are the lovely Caterpillar and Cummins diesels powering the Generator units... keeping the lights on for just the miserable price of 80,000 litres of diesel an Hour. Do you know how many Olympic sized swimming pools that is?

You gotta love green initiatives dont ya?  What could possibly go wrong?

Can’t tie shoelaces—that why you wear elastic sided boots?

You chose not to read the science of AGW so we are talking at complete cross purposes.

Let me tell you something tho: we are at or very near the temperature that applied in the Eemian period 120,000 years ago. Bit more we will be there or over the temperature that applied then. So? You ask?

So—in Eemian times sea levels were nine metres higher than they are now. It is no coincidence then that the major icesheets on Greenland, West Antarctica and East Antarctica are destabilising with the glaciers that reach the sea retreating rapidly. It is likely in your lifetime that they will let go completely.

What might tip the temperature over the edge? The sun has been in its quiet state. Within two decades I reckon it will go into its active state sending more warmth our way.

If you can’t accept that what can we talk about?

Watch this video. The scientist talking has 25 years experience in studying the main ice sheets:
