longie is still in therapy... I await breathlessly his return to crow about how he's been spending his time on yet another best-selling novel or treatise on how to persecute your employee under the guise of negotiation...

He'll probably re-surface, with a big planted smirk on his internet face, about the time of the next election.... and tell us how we're all too stupid to even understand that even if Mal loses he'll win and it will be a rogue poll and only shows how stupid the Australian people are...

May certainly will be well hung from the party room gibbet. There can be no other outcome after a disastrous campaign where she turned a 20-point poll lead into a hung Parliament.

Corbyn should also be congratulated for running a strong campaign.

She's lost 11 seats, and Labour have gained 27.

Oh dear.

Labor has already officially won more seats than last time - previous election 229, now in the 230's.

The Conservatives are still over 60 seats short of the 330 seats it won last time. They should win the majority of outstanding seats but not all of them.

Outstanding seats held by:

Con: 47
Lab: 19
L/D: 3
SNP: 3

I would estimate that the Conservatives would still have maybe 5 to 10 more seats to lose.

.... and it's officially a hung parliament. Conservatives likely to form a coalition government.

Will Mal stand down if Theresa does , after all they both went to the polls for an increased majority, and the result was the most dismal of failures  Smiley
