The 14 kWh powerwall is listed as 120kg, so about 2.5 powerwalls per gallon of gasoline.

Lee disgraces itself again. Not all the energy in petrol is converted into kinetic energy by car engines. In fact it is less than 20% conversion if all driving conditions are averaged in.

Whereas the conversion efficiency from a battery is in the order of 90% in tems of energy output as a percentage of energy input by charging.

Refueling is the only thing that matters when it comes to long distance truck haulage as is the case here.

Refuel in minutes at stations regularly located though out the country of refuel in hours.

People and businesses want to pay as little as possible for energy so renewable energy is the answer. Seeing that no driver drives a truck for 24 hours a day there is perfect opportunity to recharge it during its off road time. How do you think the Tindo electric bus service work in Adelaide ??

1. Night shift step into trucks when day shift finishes.
2. Trucks need to be moved at night, they get pre loaded, shunted etc.
3. Do you have any concept of just how many trucks run around the country??
4. Its hard enough finding someplace to pull up and sleep, let alone one with an extension lead facility.
5. Truck parking bays usually dont even have toilets.....ya reckon the electricity supply is available?
