if only I could get into the head of every Muslim  and answer some weird questions....

same with Catholics  do all Catholics molest children..

hummmm
'
'  so many reality questions that desperately need answering... Roll Eyes..

do we really want to know the answers... they may not be the ones we are hoping for.... Sad Sad

Most Muslims and most Catholics are good, peaceful, law-abiding people.

How do you know they are "good" Mothra? Would you describe someone who supports the death penalty for apostasy or adultery as good?

I would question them on those points. I would not assume their position on those points counteracted their essential "goodness".

I would think it were more about education? Yes?

So you think the vast majority of Muslims are good despite them holding views that you consider at face value to be bad?

Why would i at face value, consider them to be bad?

Because you have a spine? Killing someone for apostasy or adultery - do we really have to explain why this is a bad thing?

Do you support capital punishment?

No. Do I need to explain why it's bad to you also?

I don't support capital punishment, under any circumstances.

I was just wondering if Mothballs could name a songle peace-loving Catholic responsible for international terrorism?

Timothy McVeigh

I appreciate your moral courage, John. Timothy McVeigh took some of his views from far right Christian groups, but there is no evidence he was affiliated with any of them. The  main motivation he alluded to was high levels of taxation.

no evidence? what rubbish. and then a plastic sword is enough evidence to convince you someone is a muslim  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
why don't you apply the same standard to McVeigh? he was a staunch church goer who regularly went to church with his father. If that doesn't make him catholic nothing will.

All right, I'll  grant Timothy McVeigh, although he did express that he was motivated by groups with which he wasn't affiliated rather than the Catholicism of his youth.

We don't have capital punishment in Australia. That's like someone saying they approve of unicorns.

There are some Australians who would like to see it reintroduced, though.

But, I digress.

I wouldn't say that.

I'm going to have to explain this to you, aren't I? Could you at least have a go at figuring it out for yourself?

No I'm trying to understand your point FD. You seem to want to point out that the majority of muslims are 'bad' people, because of their 'bad' beliefs - no?
