Most Muslims and most Catholics are good, peaceful, law-abiding people.

How do you know they are "good" Mothra? Would you describe someone who supports the death penalty for apostasy or adultery as good?

I would question them on those points. I would not assume their position on those points counteracted their essential "goodness".

I would think it were more about education? Yes?

So you think the vast majority of Muslims are good despite them holding views that you consider at face value to be bad?

Mothballs, just off the top of your head (no googling), can you cite some instances (outside of Northern Ireland twenty years ago) of Catholics blowing up ice cream parlours, Christmas markets and pop concerts?

How about we skip that part, and just get straight to your point?

You do have one, don't you?

Mothballs graciously compared peace-loving Catholics to peace-loving Muslims. I was just wondering if Mothballs could name a songle peace-loving Catholic responsible for international terrorism?

Once again, you've missed the point.

She's saying that pedo Catholic priests aren't a true representative of all Catholics, just as Islamic terrorists aren't a true representation of all Muslims.

The majority of people, in both religions, are law-abiding citizens.

One bad apple don't spoil the whole bunch, girl.

Give it one more time, before you give up on love.

In context of the thread, so called Pecker, I think the comparing of Muslims to Catholics could warrant the naming of one Catholic terrorist, dont you?

No, it wouldn't.

You have completely and utterly missed the point.

I honestly cannot believe that he has missed the point, by so much.

I'm almost speechless.

It's been a rough couple of days for him. I am inclined to charity.

Timothy McVeigh

I appreciate your moral courage, John. Timothy McVeigh took some of his views from far right Christian groups, but there is no evidence he was affiliated with any of them. The  main motivation he alluded to was high levels of taxation.
