Trumps scores 110 bill defence contract for U.S.
May 21st, 2017 at 12:54pm

Just thought this might be worth a mention. Donald Trump has scored a 110 Billion dollar Defence Contract for the U.S. with Saudi Arabia

It will create thousands of new jobs in the defence industry in the U.S.

Couldn't see a Barak Obama or a Hillary Clinton for that matter pulling off something like that

Interesting to note that Saudi Arabia treated Trump like an incoming hero

Just an observation. No one else here seems to have to have the balls to comment on this good news story for Trump and the U.S.

Clinton couldn't have pulled off an arms deal with the Saudis? You need to get out and google more!

So Trump is just an Establishment shill after all, eh? Imagine what Trump would make of Obama doing such a deal. One thing's clear: we no longer wonder why the Saudis were off Trump's list of Musel enemies.

Trump is in deep with the Saudis. There's the property deals in the gulf, the oil shieks in Trump Tower, and the millions in Trump Saudi debt.

Now watch as Trump's friends go into business in defence contracts.

Guess you are referring to Bill Clinton North because Hillary Clinton couldn't organise a game of marbles

Well Karnal he either did or did not obtain a 110 billion dollar defence contract

Seeing that is one of America's main games with exports, chances are its kosher...you think?

Problem is with the mainstream press..he's f....d when he does and he's f.....d when he doesn't...That doesn't provide much leeway does it? Just in the interests of fair play of course

Look Aussie I don't know why you want to get into a issing contest for. I watched 9 News this morning and it was ther headline news in NSW that Trump has scored this contract

Perhaps 9 is screening Fake News after all they are mainstream and there is a lot of fake going on these days

But on the other hand Saudi Arabia is a kind of rich Country to be uncouth

Don't think 110 bill over 10 years would be a stretch for them

And you should know...they like their toys over there

That'll be mere pocket money for them, and I seriously doubt this deal was the idea of Trump who has not been there long enough to have initiated it.  More likely, it began while Obama was there, Trump inherited it and was on the Throne when the bureaucrats finalised the deal .

Here ya go, Mr Baron.

Link.

Quote:
What does this military deal include?

It's fairly comprehensive — it includes tanks, combat ships and missile defence systems, as well as radar, communications and cybersecurity technology.

The New York Times is also reporting that the deal includes the sale of precision-guided munitions, which the Obama administration had stopped because it was worried they would be used to bomb civilians in Yemen.

The United States is Saudi Arabia's main military supplier.

Trump is selling weapons and munitions that Obama would not sell to Saudi Arabia because Saudis were killing civilians and causing a starvation catastrophe in Yemen.

Currently Saudi Arabia is using American and British weapons to bomb Yemen into smithereens.

Killing people with bombs, starvation, and cholera is a cause for rejoicing according to Red Baron.

http://foreignpolicy.com/2017/05/20/if-trump-doubles-down-on-the-saudi-war-in-ye...

Quote:
As the conflict drags on with no end in sight, the only clear winners have been hunger and death. Yemen was one of the most food-insecure and water-scarce countries in the world well before this latest conflict. Adding a brutal war to the mix is pushing the country into catastrophe. Both sides bear responsibility here. The behavior of the Saudi coalition gets a lot more press: It has bombed humanitarian warehouses, medical clinics, schools, bridges along key humanitarian aid routes, commercial food and water facilities, water infrastructure, and several of the ports used for humanitarian imports. And despite U.S. pressure, the Saudis have shown little concern for the civilian impact of their operations, even to the point of famously bombing a widely attended funeral in Sanaa, killing more than 100 people. But the Houthis deserve their share of blame as well, for frequently obstructing humanitarian agencies’ activities, operating poorly controlled militia roadblocks to harass and delay humanitarian movements, and maintaining a brutal, inhumane siege on the city of Taiz.

The results for Yemen’s people are all too predictable. Amidst a crowded field of global crises, Yemen takes the prize for the largest food security crisis in the world, with 14 million people food insecure (roughly half the population) and as many as two million in pre-famine conditions. Recent U.N. surveys have found that half the country’s population is borrowing money to cover basic food needs — an untenable situation when food prices are rising and economic livelihoods are collapsing. Malnutrition has reached critical levels and has spiked by a third in just the past year. The World Health Organization has warned that the war has left Yemen’s health system close to collapse, with only 45 percent of facilities fully functional and drug availability declining by 70 percent. And degraded water systems have left humanitarians struggling to contain a resurgent cholera outbreak that is spreading beyond control.

The photo has everything to do with Yemen and is in fact a Yemeni child from news sources. Saudi Arabia is destroying ports and blockading food shipments.

Saudi Arabia is attacking a neighbor for political reasons. It has nothing to do with the West. USA and UK are supplying munitions because Saudi Arabia is an ally and demands these munitions.

So.....yeas.....let's take $B110 from them and sell them some STUFF, some Western STUFF.....so ONE SIDE  can continue beating the chit out the others because of more Western involvement.

Yeas, I get it.

A lot of things the Mechanic believes are fantasies.

The UN and UNICEF are the main aid sources to Yemen.

The Mechanic wants to ban the UN, Forgiven. I think you'll find that starving child is exactly what the Mechanic wants. He's relishing the Saudis taking them out.

Normally, the Mechanic likes to see nature take its course, through starvation and attrition. But he's quite happy to see this sped up if 110 billion worth of bombs can finish the job.

Survival of the fittest, innit.

Yes Aussie let's just let I.S.I.S. grow strong in the absence of opposition and just like England did with Hitler, just pretend the problem doesn't exist

That is until like Neville Chamberlain who got off the plane waving his famous white paper declaring, 'peace in our time'

The next day the Nazis marched into Poland. I think someone used that white paper to wipe their arse on

You think ISIS will march into Australia? I doubt that.

Don't forget that the Nazi's rolled into Western Poland at the same time Russia annexed into Eastern Poland.

However congratulations to Trump.

If you have an enemy growing strong and you are ostensibly 'safe at home across the sea'

And you don't lift a finger to smash that enemy then you are as big a fool as Neville Chamberlain was to England

It was on the 30th September, 1938 that Chamberlain waved that 'Peace in our Time" piece of paper around.

I've just looked at a Calander to make sure, and I discovered that the day after that was the 1st October, 1938, and not the 1st September 1939.

Ya see, that's what happens when you try those gymnastics I've mentioned with one arm and one leg, Mr Baron.  It's not a pretty sight.

I don't wish to argue but Chamberlain was no fool.

Hitler made 2 peace offerings to Britain early WW2. Even going so far as to suggest how Germany and Britain can work together and the respect he had for Britain.

You have been lied to. Don't let your fears take control of your logic.

Rich Dude it is true that Hitler held out hope that Britain would join Germany in a world varve up

He referred to England as the Motherland

However when the treaty was drawn up no mention was made of Germany walking into Poland the following day

Similarly Hitler feigned friendship with Russia until he launched Operation Barbarossa against the Reds which caught them on the hop. In the early stages Russia sustained dreadful death tolls but the Russian winter and Russia's strategy of leaving nothing of value behind as they retreated and regrouped found Germany out...Blitzkreig failed

Germany invaded Poland on the 1st September, 1939.  What Treaty was drawn up on the 31st August, 1939?

As in Germany is his Fatherland and England is his Motherland, Mr Baron?

You could hardly disagree with set in concrete historical data Mr Baron, despite the fact that you said,
twice,
that German invaded Poland ONE DAY after some Treaty.....and ONE DAY after Chamberlain's 'Peace in our Times' piece of paper.

You are posting bullshit again, Mr Baron.

Unfortunately Aussie I didn't specify the exact dates, instead generalising by saying the day after the Treaty was signed

I was speaking in general terms about this and I think most readers would have 'got' what I was talking about

Regrettably as usual, you want to take that small generalisation and turn it into Judgement at Nuremburg

You aren't in a courtroom now Aussie sometimes everyone, except your royal rightness generalises. That doesn't mean for a second that the respondent is 'bullsh.tting'

You can take off your wig and gown now Aussie, you've got me dead to rights...Oh yeah that's right, you haven't got a Wig and Gown...You're just a solicitor..albeit one who has the ear of those on high, according to you that is  Grin

Aussie I don't know why you have to be so gut wrenchingly exact all the time

I was discussing briefly in broad terms the events leading up to England's involvement in the War. Yes I did use the term 'the next day' but I was speaking in broad terms and not unfolding a specific calendar of events but more in broad terms

Apparently you seem unable to get your head around this

I can't help you in that regard. I have already conceded that 'the next day' was the wrong choice of words...get over it!

I have nothing to get over.

This is just another of your many incorrect statements.  You did say 'next day' twice and in the context of two apparently separate 'Treaties' one of which, you will not identify.

it would be 'gut wrenchingly exact' if he got the time of day wrong. But you got almost all of the salient points wrong by huge margins. When you are discussing history, there is no excuse for getting dates and orders of events wrong. AFter all, you only have to google it.

At least I know the difference between a day and almost a year.

I also do not have the history you have of making stupid claims for example about what is about to happen with a Prime Minister and some weird Camps, for example.

Carry on shouldering that chip, Mr Baron.

Sure , you spent the whole day here trying to squirm out of being caught lying and now you dont care about it. White flag accepted. If you just accepted from the beginning you wouldnt have made yourself look like an utter tool for the whole thread. But I understand you Ozzy and your inflated ego would never let you do that, and like most malignant narcissists that is your achilles heel.

Collateral damage.

"Yemeni President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi had called for dialogue with the Houthis, inviting the group to join a "unity government", and the two sides ultimately signed a peace deal brokered by the UN envoy to Yemen, Jamal Benomar. It demanded that the Houthis withdraw from Sanaa and cease hostilities in other provinces in exchange for their demands being met. But the rebels did not comply, as their fighters pushed into other provinces, taking over the strategic port city of Hodeida on the Red Sea."

It's Yasser Arafat all over again. When Israel agreed to 98% of his terms - he baulked and reneged rather than find himself out of a job and no longer an international celebrity spending time in London's best hotel with his boyfriend chauffeur.

You know that the second highest number of ISIS recruits come from Saudi Arabia? Yes?

About two and a half thousand Saudi men have joined ISIS.

Would you like to talk about Saudis and Al Quaeda now?

Certain economic realities are apt to predominate between nations as a practical priority that is fundamental to maintaining First World standards for its citizens.

China has an abysmal record of abuses of Human Rights upon its citizens, and yet we help fund and support the continuing success of this fascist Police State regime every time we buy something with Made in China stamped upon it.

Playing the game of 'Holier than Thou' with your detractors on this board is fraught with moral danger when the tables are turned against you.

Mothra ... Unforgiven ... when did you last make a purchase whilst fully aware you were helping to fund China's dictatorship?
