The leather is great for shoes, much tougher than cow leather. Something to do with roos constantly trying to disembowel each other in mating season. There is ongoing controversy over California's ban on roo skin imports. It means their soccer teams have to put up with inferior boots, and less beer for our roo shooting team.

People who can't distinguish between etymology and entomology bug me in ways I cannot put into words.
