it's not just the info., it's also the fact that the info reveals their source. You don't give Russia your source, especially when it's from a 3rd country.
How do you think that 3rd country is going feel about sharing further information with Trump? I'd bet the US intelligence services suddenly find alies aren't as ready to share information if they think this is true.
