People fear Muslims because they refuse to understand Muslims, Soren.  Just like you do.  Tsk, tsk.

That's right folks. All those Yazidi sex slaves just need to make more of an effort to understand the men who are raping them. If they try really hard they will realise it is nothing to do with Islam and it is all America's fault. And they have no right or even ability to criticise them because of the different religions.

Freediver, why you identify the men of Da'esh as typical Muslims?   Seems to me that the majority of Muslims don't accept them as typical.  Funny that, hey?   Roll Eyes

According to whom?  You, Brian?  You're an Islamophile.  Any Muslim is considered by you to be non-violent, well-adjusted, assimilated and feminist,  Yet there are hundreds of millions of Muslims who are none of those things.   I was right, you cannot see the difference between Muslims.  You just perceive them all as one group which you love and excuse.  Tsk, tsk.

No, not every Muslim, Soren.  Just the overwhelming majority are peaceful, moderate and well assimilated around the world and in particular, here in Australia.  Tsk, tsk, erecting strawman arguments again?   Roll Eyes

According to whom, Brian? Youm?

And it's precisely your argument, I linked to it.

It is indeed.  However, you are taking it out of context, Soren.   I suppose you learnt that as part of the debate team at the University of Baloney which you attended when you were younger?   Roll Eyes

So you think that a Tunisian drove a truck in a crowd in Nice because of Israel was established without consulting the Arabs??

Or three British born Pakistanis and a West Indian blew up buses and underground trains in London killing scores, because of Israel?

Or that the Bataclan and Charlie Hebdo massacres happened because the Triple Entente was at war with the Axis Powers and their allies, the "poor innocent Ottomans"?

Or the Syrian civil war, sorry, 'tango', is due to the existence of Israel?

Or the Iraq-Iran war, sorry, 'tango', all 8 years of it, was because the UN didn't ask the Persians or the Iraqis whether it was OK to recognise Israel??

Nobody believes this nonsense, not even you, Brian.

The effects of events a century ago are still felt regularly today, Soren.  Events of two centuries ago are still felt in some places and then you have the Serbs - they still feel the events of six centuries ago...   Time you studied history and it's effects, Soren.  You might find it revealing.   It'd at least educate you.    Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Do explain in a bit more detail how the Serbs are even remotely relevant to the conflict between the Muslim and Western worlds, allegedly precipitated by the establishment of Israel.

Do tell.

Never spoken to a Serbian nationalist, Soren?  If you had, you'd have learnt that the Serbs are the most set upon group in the world, according to the Serbs.  They have (supposedly) held back the Muslims from Europe since before the Great Siege of Vienna (1683) indeed from before the Battle of Kosovo (1389) believe they have been hard done by the Muslims.

They used their losses before the Ottoman Turks to try and kill all the Bosnian Muslims (an act of Genocide) and to reclaim Kosovo during the Balkan wars of the end of the 20th century.   It may have happened 600 years ago but it was a blink of an eye to them.  Tsk, tsk.   Roll Eyes

The Balkan wars were at the beginning of the 1900s bwian.

Do you mean Kosovo?
And who came to the rescue bwian?

Albanians and Yuogoslavs, Serbs and Croats have been at each other on and off for most of the 20th century bwian...

How is it IN context when you say it but  OUT OF context when anyone else says it?

Are you the only correct context?

Let them be as aggrieved as they like, over there. But I am not interested in Serb or Muslim or any other nationalist or religious bellyache over here.

They are not let in here to continue their nationalist or religious BS. For that, they should go back over there - Serbia, China, Pakistan, Aceh, Lebanon, Iran, whatever.  If I am interested in any of these conflicts I will go and visit them over there.

And yet people come here, because of those conflicts, Soren.   How about you go over there and stay over there.  That'd make everybody happy.   You can then bad mouth people to their faces.

Most nationalists are just like you, in your attitudes, Soren.  You should be quite at home over there...    Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
