Precedent at the sewer

This had been raised in a current discussion about Membership. It seem the little power group are seeking to cement themselves by restricting the rights of new Members to zero unless they have met some requirements like six months of active participation and a minimum post count of quality entries, quality to be determined by whoever is the Boss.

They say they are following a precedent set by Freediver. That is crap.

Freediver allowed new Members immediate unrestricted participation including voting rights. He allowed a crucial vote from a new Member Kiwi Dave and the very first post of that person was that crucial balance tipping vote.

Get real dwellers. You ain't fooling anyone.

To expand on that.

Back when this happened, there was a Petition of some kind or other attacking me. It was struggling to reach the required number to be effective under the Constitution. It went on for ages, with numbers fluctauting over time but then was just one vote short to make it effective.

Out of the wide blue yonder, a new Member calling themselves Kiwi Dave arrived and her first post was that crucial vote.

I disallowed it believing it to be that of a sock, but Effendi then advised that it was in fact Nicole Page of original Debate & Relate fame (or infamy) whom, he said, he had approached elsewhere and enlisted her to Membership to make that crucial vote which he then acted upon by removing my access to the Admin buttons.

There is your precedent, sewer dwellers.

Being a quick learner, later, knowing of that precedent, I invited a few of my Cabbie mates (must surprise some that I do have many mates in real life) to enroll there and participate. They voted because the precedent had been set by Effendi....Kiwi Dave.

Incorrect Super Nova. You created that list. By that stage FD had given up and simply rubber stamped everything you put in one of your rigged spreadsheet Tables.

The original precedent, unmistakeably and genuinely that of Effendi's is Kiwi Dave.

As AiA has acknowledged, since then, you people decided to ignore the Constitution and precedent to suit your own agendas.

Not obsessive at all......nor little. Just have a memory and can relate that to current bullshit being posted at the sewer. That you turned up as Kiwi Dave and made that vote set the scene for what came later.
