You can all argue all you like over who hit who and who had what coming.

Hell, you can even pull a Rhino and demand that only one definition from dictionary is valid, despite it listing more than that.

Go for it people. Explain away how she had a king hit coming to her. Did i say say king hit?  Explain away how she had a punch in the head coming to her.

Talk about her past, while you're at it. All of the thing that she has done to make her her a less than "reputable" woman.

We won't mention the bio of the guy that punched her in the head. How he is a neo-Nazi and white supremacist who was less than honourably discharged from the marines after less than two weeks.

No. He' just reacting, isn't he? To the uppity woman who at some nebulous point had a bottle.

Hit her!

But all of this leads me away from my point ... and indeed the point of this thread.

It's all in the OP, for the slow learners.

This woman was interviewed by the media because of the violent blow to the head she received.

Are we all agreed on this?

Her name was published in that media.

Any questions?

From that name being published, her details ...  her private address, her home and mobile numbers, her facebook, her email addies; the addresses and home and mobile numbers and their facebook accounts and emails were published.

All over the net.

I can find them, so easy is it do.

These details were published with implicit instructions to harass her and her family and friends with rape, graphic sexual violence and death threats.

It is astonishing to me that people on this forum are making excuses for this behaviour.

I have been told that, by virtue of pointing this out, i have been "pounded".

Gordy even started a poll on it.

Seriously. Who are you people? That you would focus on whether or not she "deserved" a punch to the head over what she has been put through as a result?

Who are you people?

Can you readers digest that for me?

As far as I am concerned the post melee internet harassment is abhorrent. The man hit her way too hard, it was not a king hit, she was there armed for a brawl an unfortunately got one. But in the heat of the moment... The story should have been about her treatment after the fray.

For what it's worth, a (not very hard) punch in the head should have been enough to make her see the folly of her actions, and that would be that.

But afterwards, she did what all SJW"s do - she doubled down.  She willingly consented to media coverage with the intent of  constructing a false narrative - it was this choice that cemented her status as an enemy of truth, thus proving that the mild dose of karmic retribution she had received was not enough, and another, stronger dose was about to be delivered.  And delivered it was.

We can only wait in hope that this lesson is heeded.  Let us hope she learns to shut out the voices of those who are all too willing to sacrifice her, so that they may live vicariously through her, or use her as nothing more than a pawn in their political games.

I don't know what she deserves, but I expect jail would be a fair option. She should definitely have her name and mug shot in the paper s people know to stay away from her at protests and the police know to be ready to get her.

Mothra, what do you think of people who turn up to other groups' protests with the express intention of using violence to disrupt them?

Rape her!

Mothra, what do you think of people who turn up to other groups' protests with the express intention of using violence to disrupt them?

I am noticing a pattern here. You are unwilling to criticise the Koran, sacrificing your principles of standing of for victims of domestic violence to your higher priority of defending Islam. You are also unwilling to criticise this violent, dirty woman. You seek out the most repulsive parts of society then find a way to take their side.

LOL at your terminology.

My question is FD, in case i have not been clear enough, does this woman deserve in some way to have all of her private details, and those of her friends and family, plastered all over the internet with implicit instructions to threaten her with rape, graphic sexual violence  and death?

Whatever she did or didn't do FD.

Does she deserve that?

Oh good. Honky's here. That will sort everything out.

Providing you're not a woman, a minority or left-wing that is.

You have been perfectly clear. Do you have a problem with my previous answer to the same question? Or do I need to get out the crayons for you?

Are you suggesting that what a person does is irrelevant to what they deserve?

Mothra, what do you think of people who turn up to other groups' protests with the express intention of using violence to disrupt them?

Am I right that like Islam, you feel compelled to defend this scum, despite knowing what she did was wrong?

FD... i know you're accustomed to bullying people into giving you the answers you demand. Just so you know, i don;t get bullied easily.

I would have thought you would have learned that by now. But nevermind, plug away. See where it gets you.

Now, do you think this woman deserved to have all of her private details made public? And those of her friends and family? To be threatened with rape, graphic sexual violence and death?

You seem reluctant to answer. Why is that?

No FD. I think it is you having difficulty understanding the question.

And seriously, it is in the OP. Get up to speed man.

Do you think it's ok to publicise a woman's private details, and those o her friends and family, with implicit instructions to threaten her with rape, graphic sexual violence and death?

Because i'm getting from you that you kinda do.

No, it wouldn't be the same, for a few reasons.

1.  Heaps of males got beaten up there.  But violence against males gets no traction, so its narrative-crafting value is nil.

2.  Males are, in general, more receptive to the lessons of violence.  A kindergarten age boy has more awareness of the repercussions of violence than adult females.  They need to, as there are no white knights ready to bail them out if they pick fights they're sure to lose.

I'm not sure which cliched slogan fits this scenario best:

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes

or

Don't tempt fate.

No tapdancing in the slightest. Well, except from you.

What are your thoughts on the OP, FD?

Do you think a woman deserves to have all of her private details, and those of her friends and family, publicised with the implicit suggestion to threaten her with rape, graphic sexual violence and death?

Because i'm seriously getting the feeling that you do.

I mean FD, knowing your propensity for porkies, i would say that you think that women who take part in protests that may or may not turn out to be violent deserve to be stalked and threatened with rape, graphic sexual violence and death.

Were i you and you were Gandalf, i would go so far as to say that women who take part in protests deserve to be raped.

Porkies, innit.

I don't believe I've seen anyone saying she DESERVED the punch. Just about everyone here is saying she was a willing participant in a violent street protest and those few frames of footage show her coming off second best.

She willing put herself in a situation where violence was a predictable outcome, and it happened.

Post punch,if she felt she was truly an innocent assaulted she should have quietly gone to the police with the footage and perused the assailant through legal means.

But no, she did an interview and the  consensus is she lied by playing the poor innocent victim, and starting a fund raising campaign.

She tried to use social media to further her cause, but just like the punch in the head, she came off second best.

Did she deserve any of the above, well I don't like bad things to happen to anyone.
Is she the author of what happened, yup. She's a player and got played.
