You are right. I suppose the US thought Saddam was a threat to their safety. I can understand that to a degree. North Korea wants to take over another nation so it can become more powerful. It's not much of an excuse. I'd hope that if that was happening to us somebody would come to our aid.

This whole thing is obviously being fuelled by China . China wants to control asia. That's a no brainer. I'd say the states doesn't want to lose it's economic and strategic position in asia. If South Korea goes down then could come Japan.
