Seems as though we are getting another late start to winter. A repeat of last year, perhaps? Hopefully, if we can get some heavy winter rain in June or July, that would be excellent. Last year, the southern states were freezing their tits off. Whereas there was this Brisbane line for warmer than usual temperatures. I can't recall a night that fell below 4 degrees celsius. Most nights were no lower than 10 degrees. Seems like we are having another mild winter. One month of coldish weather, with two months of mild weather. Good luck in NSW, Victoria, ACT and South Australia. Heard how you guys were going on about really cold conditions there.

High pressure in the Bight. Low-pressure system in the Tasman. Dragging cold air up from Antarctica.
