Do you ever post anything that isn't by someone trying to push a fraudulent yet sensational claim to get views and clicks (aka clickbait)to peddle and sell a product of theirs?

Either you're an avid consumer whore or a gullible moron.

A bit of both I think. He is clearly a gullible moron and since he cannot move on his own because of his weight, he is an avid media whore, but without any sense of discretion or intelligence.

So short version is, Trump has gotten rid of more people willing to hold Russia to account?

Colour me surprised... /s

Who would have thought getting rid of true american patriots who are putting America first was "draining the swamp".

And this guy again, this time before even starting his video was selling his wares.  More clickbait.

And all he did was read an article not penned by him, then threw in the standard conspiracy rhetoric to get the dullards thinking they're getting inside information that was largely a pack of lies.

But Trump fired someone, wooooo! Draining the swamp!

Another one of Trump's hand picked appointees getting fired.  Does that mean Trump was in fact adding to the swamp if removing them was draining it?

Light?

Anything?

Mr kangaroo you appear a little smarter than the other haters here.

So here's a question.

Do you think a thermo nuclear war is a good idea?

Those in the media think so who are busy demonizing Russia. The deep state wants war and they think Russia is a good choice - hence the propaganda.

I don't love Russia - I just don't hate it.

So what has Russia done to make you hate it so much?

GOP senators call for special counsel to probe FBI over Russia

...

A group of Republican senators is asking the Department of Justice (DOJ) to name a special counsel to probe the FBI's handling of its investigation into Russia's election meddling and possible ties between Moscow and the Trump campaign.

GOP Sens. Chuck Grassley (Iowa), Lindsey Graham (S.C.), Thom Tillis (N.C.) and John Cornyn (Texas), the No. 2 Senate Republican, sent a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein calling for a special counsel to "gather all the facts."

"We believe that a special counsel is needed to work with the Inspector General to independently gather the facts and make prosecutorial decisions, if any are merited. The Justice Department cannot credibly investigate itself without these enhanced measures of independence," the senators wrote.

DOJ's Office of Inspector General announced in January that it was starting a review of the FBI's handling of the probe into then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's private email server, something that hung over her 2016 White House bid.

Sessions also asked the inspector general last month to examine whether FBI officials abused their authority by obtaining a secret surveillance order on Carter Page, a former foreign policy adviser to President Trump's campaign.

The attorney general has resisted demands by congressional Republicans to appoint a second special counsel beyond Robert Mueller, who is leading the federal probe into Russia's election meddling and ties between Trump campaign associates and Russia.

Graham said during a separate Fox News interview on Thursday that a special counsel is needed because "I think crimes may have been committed."

The Republican senators stressed in their writing to Sessions on Thursday that they "have the utmost confidence in the Inspector General’s integrity, fairness, and impartiality, and trust that he will complete these reviews in a thorough, unbiased, and timely fashion."

However, they argued, "the Inspector General does not have the tools that a prosecutor would to gather all the facts, such as the ability to obtain testimony from essential witnesses who are not current DOJ employees."

Graham and Grassley sent a separate letter to the DOJ's internal watchdog late last month asking that it probe the FBI's handling of the Russia probe.

"We respectfully request that you conduct a comprehensive review of potential improper political influence, misconduct, or mismanagement in the conduct of the counterintelligence and criminal investigations related to Russia and individuals associated with (1) the Trump campaign, (2) the Presidential transition, or (3) the administration prior to the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Mueller," they wrote in the February letter.

But the senators said in Thursday's letter that if the DOJ officials decline to appoint another special prosecutor focused on the FBI they want "a detailed reply explaining why not."

2nd special counsel needed to study FBI and DOJ actions on Russia probe before Mueller: GOP senators

Four Republican senators are calling for the appointment of a second special counsel to investigate the Department of Justice and FBI’s actions in the Russia probe before Special Counsel Robert Mueller took over.

In a letter sent Thursday to Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, the lawmakers wrote that “a special counsel is needed to work with the inspector general to independently gather the facts and make prosecutorial decisions, if any are merited.”

The four senators are Judiciary Committee chairman Chuck Grassley of Iowa; South Carolina's Lindsey Graham; Texas' John Cornyn; and North Carolina's Thom Tillis.

The senators also released a version of Grassley and Graham’s criminal referral earlier this year for Christopher Steele -- the ex-British spy and author of the infamous Trump dossier -- revealing for the first time the basis for the referral.

The senators say that Steele “materially misled the FBI” by saying he only shared the information in the dossier with business associate Fusion GPS and the FBI, when in fact he was providing information to the news media.

“Thus the basis for the warrant authorizing surveillance on a U.S. citizen rests largely on Mr. Steele’s credibility,” the referral states. “The Department of Justice has a responsibility to determine whether Mr. Steele provided false information to the FBI and whether the FBI’s representations to the court were in error.”

The senators wrote that “in light of sworn statements by Mr. Steele in British litigation, it appears that either Mr. Steele lied to the FBI or the British court, or that the classified documents reviewed by the committee contain materially false statements.”

The senators also released a February letter from Grassley and Graham to the Justice Department’s inspector general asking that he investigate the DOJ and FBI’s request for a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance, or FISA, Act warrant against former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

In that letter, they ask the inspector general to review “potential improprieties in the FBI’s relationship” with Steele, the author of the infamous, unverified dossier used to obtain the Page warrant.

They also ask that the relationship between DOJ official Bruce Ohr and Steele, the disclosure of classified information to the press and the investigation into former national security adviser Mike Flynn be examined.

“We have the utmost confidence in the inspector general’s integrity, fairness and impartiality, and trust that he will complete these reviews in a thorough, unbiased, and timely fashion,” the senators wrote in Thursday’s letter. “However, by statute, the inspector general does not have the tools that a prosecutor would to gather all the facts, such as the ability to obtain testimony from essential witnesses who are not current DOJ employees.”

Calling for another special counsel, the senators argue: “The Justice Department cannot credibly investigate itself without these enhanced measures of independence to ensure that the public can have confidence in the outcome.”

Reacting to the letter, Page told Fox News: “My central concern remains that the U.S. Government completes essential repairs, following the damage done to America's national security and justice system amidst Washington’s interference in the 2016 election. I remain cautiously optimistic that further disclosure of the facts will help achieve that strategic objective.”

Investigating Donald Trump, F.B.I. Sees No Clear Link to Russia

WASHINGTON — For much of the summer, the F.B.I. pursued a widening investigation into a Russian role in the American presidential campaign. Agents scrutinized advisers close to Donald J. Trump, looked for financial connections with Russian financial figures, searched for those involved in hacking the computers of Democrats, and even chased a lead — which they ultimately came to doubt — about a possible secret channel of email communication from the Trump Organization to a Russian bank.

Law enforcement officials say that none of the investigations so far have found any conclusive or direct link between Mr. Trump and the Russian government. And even the hacking into Democratic emails, F.B.I. and intelligence officials now believe, was aimed at disrupting the presidential election rather than electing Mr. Trump.

Hillary Clinton’s supporters, angry over what they regard as a lack of scrutiny of Mr. Trump by law enforcement officials, pushed for these investigations. In recent days they have also demanded that James B. Comey, the director of the F.B.I., discuss them publicly, as he did last week when he announced that a new batch of emails possibly connected to Mrs. Clinton had been discovered.

Supporters of Mrs. Clinton have argued that Mr. Trump’s evident affinity for Russia’s president, Vladimir V. Putin — Mr. Trump has called him a great leader and echoed his policies toward NATO, Ukraine and the war in Syria — and the hacks of leading Democrats like John D. Podesta, the chairman of the Clinton campaign, are clear indications that Russia has taken sides in the presidential race and that voters should know what the F.B.I. has found.

The F.B.I.’s inquiries into Russia’s possible role continue, as does the investigation into the emails involving Mrs. Clinton’s top aide, Huma Abedin, on a computer she shared with her estranged husband, Anthony D. Weiner. Mrs. Clinton’s supporters argue that voters have as much right to know what the F.B.I. has found in Mr. Trump’s case, even if the findings are not yet conclusive.

“You do not hear the director talking about any other investigation he is involved in,” Representative Gregory W. Meeks, Democrat of New York, said after Mr. Comey’s letter to Congress was made public. “Is he investigating the Trump Foundation? Is he looking into the Russians hacking into all of our emails? Is he looking into and deciding what is going on with regards to other allegations of the Trump Organization?”

Mr. Comey would not even confirm the existence of any investigation of Mr. Trump’s aides when asked during an appearance in September before Congress. In the Obama administration’s internal deliberations over identifying the Russians as the source of the hacks, Mr. Comey also argued against doing so and succeeded in keeping the F.B.I.’s imprimatur off the formal findings, a law enforcement official said. His stance was first reported by CNBC.

Senator Harry Reid of Nevada, the minority leader, responded angrily on Sunday with a letter accusing the F.B.I. of not being forthcoming about Mr. Trump’s alleged ties with Moscow.

“It has become clear that you possess explosive information about close ties and coordination between Donald Trump, his top advisers, and the Russian government — a foreign interest openly hostile to the United States, which Trump praises at every opportunity,” Mr. Reid wrote. “The public has a right to know this information.”

F.B.I. officials declined to comment on Monday. Intelligence officials have said in interviews over the last six weeks that apparent connections between some of Mr. Trump’s aides and Moscow originally compelled them to open a broad investigation into possible links between the Russian government and the Republican presidential candidate. Still, they have said that Mr. Trump himself has not become a target. And no evidence has emerged that would link him or anyone else in his business or political circle directly to Russia’s election operations.

At least one part of the investigation has involved Paul Manafort, Mr. Trump’s campaign chairman for much of the year. Mr. Manafort, a veteran Republican political strategist, has had extensive business ties in Russia and other former Soviet states, especially Ukraine, where he served as an adviser to that country’s ousted president, Viktor F. Yanukovych.

But the focus in that case was on Mr. Manafort’s ties with a kleptocratic government in Ukraine — and whether he had declared the income in the United States — and not necessarily on any Russian influence over Mr. Trump’s campaign, one official said.
