Too many people have left light to post his bullshit unquestioned like the unpopular slow kid at school, that is, best left alone. But he's started to believe his own bullshit. He's been in his own echo chamber misreading people ignoring him for thinking they approve of his message.

He's been in an echo chamber of one for so long he's lost sight of reality long ago and I'd feel sorry for him if he wasn't such a dick about it.

Trump has actually escaped police investigation over the past seven years. Rulings against him, which include the fraudulent Trump University, have been made through the civil courts.
