Men and women mix freely in SEA Asia without the societal hangups of Muslims or Indians. They start dating in their mid teens so they're comfortable around the opposite sex.
In India and muzz countries they cause the men no end of sexual frustration that creates life long hangups
That sounds very plausible, although I do believe there's an accepted custom in China where young heterosexual men have temporary homosexual partnerships as a sexual convenience until they get married to a woman.
All very odd.
I've only spent 4 days total in China, so claim no insight but I'm led to believe it's not unlike Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, countries I'm very familiar with. Men and women mix freely from the youngest of ages.
In Vietnam boys and girls flirt like crazy from puberty, exactly like western countries. They ride side by side on bicycles home from school, stop and cafes for a snack, go to movies and when they're 17 they double each other around on motorbikes and go to quiet lakeside locations... (parking)
By the end of Uni they've had a serious boyfriend/girlfriend or two.
The same is even more true for Thailand which is more westernised and economically developed.
I've only spent 3 weeks in India so I'll defer to anyone with more knowledge, but being a well travelled and astute people watcher I trust my observations.
WHERE ARE THE WOMEN!!! On the street in places where people get out for entertainment the man to woman ratio is 50:1.
The men walk around cuddling and holding hands because the women are all secreted away. That has to have an effect on male attitudes.
