I say let him in, monitor all of his speeches and tag all who attend and refer to ASIO checking and possible deportation.

Tag all who attend?

Lucky ASIO are so good at their job.

Why would you suggest they tag all those that attend Gordy?

Let's just pretend you didn't call all of these people "ratbags".

That's how ASIO would do it.
Record all faces who go and tag them.
Are you so silly to think they don't do that particularly for events that would attract a lot of people with extreme views?

Why is Palestinian activism an extreme view?

Is it more extreme than Ayaan Hirsi Ali inciting hatred towards Muslims?

Oh probably because destroying Israel and killing every last jew is an openly stated goal of Palestine.

Where's FD, Frank et al bemoaning the lack of freedom of speech on this one?

Im pretty sure 'free speech' does not extend to inciting hatred and getting our potential terrorists all worked up.

We have enough 'in-house', scumbags doing that already.

He "incites hatred" because he is a Palestinian activist?

What do you reckon the chances the Jews are mentioned in an adverse light somewhere in his speech.

Since he is here to talk to mussies, Id say one or fifty of them are fkken unhunged radicals waiting for some fkked up reason or other to get their 'kill' on.

As with  any group of lunatics it is best to keep them away from anything that can set them off.

They have no right to access this this information, so fkk 'em, they can go without.

Our safety is vastly more important than any mussies' access to hate speech.

Remember we are not muslims, we don't go around threatening to cut off heads, as we don't get all worked up over some bullsh1t or other.

We imported a bunch of fkking lunatics who kill for their versions of their fairy-tale, best we don't allow them access to hate speech.

Mr Hammer wrote on Apr 8th, 2017 at 3:36pm:
A Palestinian human rights campaigner has had his visa to enter Australia cancelled.

Bassem Tamimi, an outspoken activist and opponent of Israeli settlement in the West Bank, was scheduled to speak in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth this month.

However documents addressed to the 50-year-old and viewed by AAP dated April 6, show Mr Tamimi's visa to enter the country was revoked by federal authorities based on information indicating "a risk members of the public will react adversely to your presence ... regarding your views of the ongoing political tensions in the Middle East".

Damn.

That's not good news. Our freedom to listen to what this fellow has to say in person has been denied us.

It also sets a president for the government to ban other speakers like Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Geert Wilders, Mark Steyn, and even Nigel Farage.

This is grim news indeed.i

Not a big thinker are you?

It clearly evidences that any audience Bassem al-Tamimi attracts would not comprise solely of Muslims; that most Australians agree with what he is saying and most Australians do not consider what he says to be "hate speech".

Tell me BigOl, have you read anything about him? Read about his platform?

No. Of course you haven't.

You are simply, and i use that word in every sense of it's meaning, reacting because he is a Muslim.

The Muslims can suck on it as far as I'm concerned. That's payback for the Somali lady who got  death threats and had to abandon her tour.

they have not a thing to do with each other....

Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

have you thought that out?

He's a Muslim ... he wants to speak out against the US & the Israelis here .....

Ayaan Hirsi Ali is an ex-Muslim ... she wants to speak out against the hypocrisy & extremists in this ideology ..

but when she wants to come here to speak .. she gets death threats & so called Muslim womens groups protesting her entry.

If she can't come in for security reasons ...... then this bloke can't come in because his fellow Muslims are the reason Hirsi Ali has cancelled.

No one is threatening his safety ....

but in fairness he should stay in Palestine.
