Cockroached potatos.
Apr 7th, 2017 at 7:20pm

Ima on the last days of batching, and was cooking tonight's delight which included mashed spuds.  Forgot to operate the range hood to get rid of the steam etc, and when I did open it....right into the boiling spuds dropped a ferking cockroach.  Arsehole!

Stuff that!  I was not gonna start from scratch, so immediately ripped the bloody thing out (it was tot a millisecond after hitting the boiling water) finished cooking the peas, rib fillet and gravy, mashed the spuds with butter and milk.........fantastic.

Highly recommended!

Effing Roach!

They say it adds body to the flavour.

I don't think anyone here is surprised with Taxi drivers eating cockroaches.   Grin

Leftists and the Ayatollahs have a lot in common when it comes to criticism of Islam, they don't tolerate it.

Nah, I refreshed the filter on that rangehood only last week.

No cockroaches in your place Rhino?  Never seen one there?

Aussie,
I am trying to give you some good advice.
I hear that it's not wiping benches to get rid of tiny crumbs etc that encourages them.

Bobby, there is an external barrier which is meant to keep the arseholes from being anywhere near inside the place.

I reckon that stray came in via flight when a door (garage door maybe) was left open.  Any way, he ferked now.

dear Aussie,
I don't believe anything can stop insects from getting inside.
They can get through the smallest cracks under doors etc.
They can even jump on you & you can bring them inside without realising.

Probably shitting all over your plates and glasses anyway but I'm not sure I could take a bite seeing it fall in first hand .

I don't get the brown ones with the wings , but get the black variety , I spray this every two weeks around the house since September https://www.bunnings.com.au/amgrow-100ml-chemspray-ant-spider-and-cockroach-kill... and it seems to be working as I haven't seen any since then , ants on the other hand just seem to come up somewhere else in the yard instead . The spiders hate this stuff as well  .
