How many Islamic terrorist acts in Australia is that now? And Muslims wonder why everybody hates their guts.
I dont HATE anyones GUTS hammer.....
I try really hard not to judge all by the few......and I hope they give me the same respect..
it is HATE thats spreads evil....
so loosen up mate
acting as bad as them wont fix anything
it should not be a case of acting as "bad" as them.
as you correctly state, this is not a solution.
however, the correct way of dealing with any sort of problem behaviour is to have very firm "personal boundaries" about what behaviour will be tolerated and what behaviour will not be tolerated.
because, i can tell you, if you have weak personal boundaries, you are a danger to yourself and of no help to anyone.
so we dont need to be "as bad", we need to be (i know this sounds arrogant) "superior".
we need to say
any person or persons who try to indoctrinate youth will be deported
any person carrying a placard saying "death to the infidels" will be deported
any person who is involved in female genital mutilation will be deported
any person who .....etc etc.
we just say, these are the behaviours of the australian ecosystem and then, in a very matter of fact way, we remove those who dont have those values.
if you are misbehaving in a nightclub or on public transport, we dont need the driver or bouncer to fight fire with fire, but we do expect him in a calm but firm way to "dispose of this", get it out of our sight.
when people know that these are the rules, they will play by them.
if you have weak boundaries, you must expect those boundaries will be pushed on and if you yield , you have no one to blame but yourself
