A certain percentage is ticked off as morally acceptable with regard to a military objective. Hundreds, if not thousands of French people were collaterally killed after the D-Day landings to bring freedom to France. The French understood this and accepted it with intelligence and good grace.

Not one person from the left condoned any civilian casualty under Obama.

It just happens to be a fact that while Obama was heavily criticised for being "too cautious" by defense hawks and much of the military when risking civilian death, causing the Coalition to miss terrorist targets.

On the other hand, Trump has gone well the other way. There has been a dramatic spike in civilian deaths since he came to power. This is irrefutable.

In fact, since Trump came to power, acknowledged civilian deaths by the US-led coalition have doubled since the beginning of the bombing campaign in 2014.

Is that not worthy of attention?
