Farage is right about a lot of things, but he is wrong about the failure of multiculturalism. It has only failed in connection with Muzlim immigration. Greeks, Chinese, West Indians etc., have made excellent New Britons, as they have in Australia. The failure of multiculturalism in connection with Muzlims is that the progressive-liberal view cannot discern between a violent Dark Age culture, and those that have the respect for other cultures. The fault is at the foundation of Western humanist philosophy.
It's a lot more than just the Muslims. When I was living in the UK we were a coherent, undivided people with a common ancestry and a national identity that was thoroughly and unashamedly British.
Under mass-immigration that had no filters, no discrimination, no tailoring and customisation to ensure racial, cultural, and religious compatibility with the locals, Britain today is a hotch-potch in which every town and city has its enclaves and patchwork of urban foreign mini-colonies.
Immigration has been a disaster.
The political socialists who were in charge of looking after the British as their priority concern in their own ancestral homeland now sees London as a majority black city with a Muslim for a mayor.
'The Oscar-nominated actor Terence Stamp has queried the multicultural identity of London and complained that no one speaks English in the capital city.
The 76-year-old star of Superman 2, Billy Budd and The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert told the Daily Mail he now struggled to buy his beloved mangoes from a favourite East End stall because of a language barrier.
Columnist Sebastian Shakespeare said that Stamp had told him, at a Mayfair party, that “it’s very sad how few English people there are in London now”. “When I grew up in East London everyone seemed to speak English, and now you can barely get by speaking our own language.” I haven't returned to the UK in 55 years, but I would make the trip if there was a public hanging of the bastards who turned the whole country into an international airport lounge.
