Boris Johnson has denied 'dad dancing' with David Cameron in New York just hours after Londoners gathered in Trafalgar Square to remember victims of the Westminster terror attack.
The former London Mayor enjoyed a meal in a trendy Harlem eatery with his Old Etonian chum.
The Tory pair who fell out in a big way after Boris decided to lead the Brexit campaign appeared to have buried the hatchet as they rolled out of the Red Rooster restaurant last night.
Journalist Joanna Geary spotted Boris leaving the restaurant, and introduced herself.
After she explained she had recently moved to New York from London, Boris said: "Well then, you’ll recognise my friend David," pointing to the former Prime Minister who was following Boris out of the door.
Another diner told Geary the pair had been "bopping along" to the music in the restaurant.
Asked if they were 'dad dancing', the diner reportedly said: "That's about the size of it."
But a source close to Boris Johnson angrily denied the claim.
They said: "I can say categorically that they had dinner and no dancing took place. Someone has simply made it up. It is a lie.
"He would never have done such a thing given the events of the last few days. They had dinner for 60 minutes and then left."
The reunion came just a day after the London terror attack, which as now left five people dead and 40 injured.
Just hours earlier, thousands of Londoners held a candlelit vigil in Trafalgar Square for those killed and injured in the attack.
Andrew Dismore, a member of the London Assembly who was at last night's vigil, said: “It would seem to me to be in rather poor taste when London is coming together. Why was Boris in New York and not here?
“He should have shown greater sensitivity. Especially as he is Foreign Secretary and considering the number of different nationalities who were caught up in the attack. One man who died was American and his wife was seriously injured.”

Labour MP Stephen Pound said: "I appreciate that life must go on but this sort of behaviour is inappropriate at best and downright disrespectful at worst."
Lib Dem MP John Pugh said: “You would have thought that Boris would have come back to the UK to be involved in COBR meetings rather than sitting down for a chummy dinner with is old Oxford pal.
“I mean there are things he should actually be doing.
“Maybe if he did a bit more work, and a little less dad dancing he’d actually be a decent Foreign Secretary, at the moment he just jets around the world not doing very much.”
The Foreign Secretary said earlier that the attack was "heartbreaking."
The restaurant's menu includes 'Two-Five Strip Steak', for $36, 'Helga's Meatballs', for $25 and a snack called 'Harlem Mess', which includes fries, chilli and cheese curds.
Michael Gove regrets running to replace David Cameron as Prime Minister and rues pledging support to Boris Johnson
Also available to hungry diners is the 'Obama Short Rib', served with fermented cabbage, scallion pancakes and muddled chili sauce, which costs $88 for two to share.
According to the restaurant's website, DJ Masai is their Thursday night resident. A veteran DJ of 23 years, he plays Hip Hop, R&B, Reggae, Calypso, House, Classics, Go-go, Meringue and Salsa.
