New Trump Corruption Scandal
Mar 12th, 2017 at 6:10pm

Three days ago, the US Attorney for New York - a staunch and very effective anti-corruption attorney - received three letters regarding investigation requests from government Ethics bodies seeking investigation into Trump companies receiving illegal benefits from foreign govts now that Trump is President. He was given that because most Trump companies are headquartered in NY.  two days later, he wa fired after being asked to stay in the job  by Trump personally after the election.

Of course, that is not in any way suspicious, is it? Jeff Session (A-G) who is a trumpoid sacked him and will undoubtedly replace him with a trump sycophant.

Trump is the most corrupt and incompetent president in history - by a mile.

It's not suspicious. Sessions sacked all the previous administrations' attorneys.

All this attorney had was a few letters requesting investigations. He probably wouldn't have touched them anyway.

OF COURSE Trump has benefited financially by being president. The contracts are rolling in. Even the fees at Mar a Lago have doubled since he was elected.

Now, none of this will be prosecuted, but it's incredibly unlikely to have been prosecuted under the old guard either.

The business of Amerika is business. Trump will make a killing out of being president, and there will be no consequence to this. Let's face it, he was pretty much elected to do just that.

it IS suspicious becasuse this guy was PERSONALLY invited to stay on because of his stellar record in exposing corruption. Then as soon as he is tasked with exposing Trumps corruption... he is sacked?

Of course, having confirmed people to replace all these sacked US Attorneys is how it is supposed to be done - assuming they will be replaced at all.

He wasn't tasked with an active prosecution of Trump. He was tasked with considering whether Trump may or may not have broken any laws, and whether New York had the funds to run with a prosecution and a reasonable chance of a conviction.

Trump will breach plenty of conflict of interest rules, but he'll live.

What he may not survive is the charge of colluding with a foreign power, which he's clearly done.

There's your chance. Stick with Putin.

Apparently he once tried to do a deal with Castro to open a casino in Havana (which would have been in direct violation of US law), but Castro wouldn't go for it...

Castro was too honest compared to Trump.  After all, NO ONE has ever done a deal with trump twice.
