Anyone who thinks Obama, after 8 years in office, is stupid and petty enough to plot against Trump, would have to be willing to ask for evidence. But of course they are not. They just want to spray raw sewerage around and hope some of it sticks. Which is standard Trump tactics. If anyone is plotting against Trump, its a faction within the Republicans, but even they have yet to get their sewerage together. This is paranoia, plain and simple, and not a healthy sign in the US administration.

That's the ticket, Issue. Obama was never campaigning against Trump, he'd served his time. He had nothing to gain by playing dirty tricks.

As a lame duck president, all he wanted to do was survive his final months in office and protect his legacy at all costs. Obama is nothing if not risk adverse, and he saw his legacy as upholding the rule of law to the letter.

Nixon, he most certainly wasn't.
