Pauline Hanson faces lawsuit ...
Mar 8th, 2017 at 3:00pm

... after One Nation members sacked for being ‘too old’.

"PAULINE Hanson is facing a lawsuit for age discrimination after sacking her former WA state president for being “too old”.

"The One Nation leader dumped 87-year-old Ron McLean as state president and his 79-year-old wife Marye Louise Daniels as state secretary in February.

"The pair had been One Nation members for nearly 20 years and poured nearly $100,000 of their own money into the party."

look... I understand all of that .. and I'm starting to face it myself...

jobs that I went for 10 years ago.. I had people begging me at my feet...

now... 10 years on and moving jobs... wow...  Shocked

jobs that I would walk into I can't even get an interview...

speaking with a recent workmate... they told me to leave off my DOB on my Resume as they faced similar situations... once the DOB was taken off their resume they started getting interviews again...

nothing has changed.... I'm still a genius in my trade apart from my age... but I even have an extra 10 years under my belt...

But some on Brian... 87??

I bet there was more to it as well...

I hope they go on a trip around australia and really enjoy themselves...

Agism?  Adding that to your Racism, Xenophobia and Islamophobia.    Not many "isms" left, you realise?   Roll Eyes

I haven't been putting my DOB on my CV for twenty years.   There is no requirement to.   My academic achievements are also undated.   My age is my affair and no one else's.   There is no mandatory retirement age now.  87 is fine.  If they can keep up the pace and still make decisions, it's none of yours or Pauline's business what their age is.    Roll Eyes

come on Brian... stop the brow beating...

I would say that there is more to it than just their age...

its extremely had to tell someone that they have "lost it"

I saw one old chap go down hill in a Coach Company I used to work for...

good mate of mine...

but he got to the stage at one point there he couldn't even open my office door as it had a round handle.. he thought it was locked and went out the other door...  Shocked

is this someone you should have behind the wheel of a School Bus??

how do you tell someone that they are incapable of doing that job anymore when "they" believe that they are??

swear black and blue that they are fine...??

I know another coach company who just has a mandatory  retirement age for drivers.. I think it was 72...

at least it was a given and you didn't have to tell some old people that there were now dangerous not only to themselves but to the public...

not all of them... sure...

but it wasn't worth the risk of the public and school children...

no fights.. no ill feeling...

In reality, they represented a threat to Pauline's take over of the WA branch of her Political Party.  They had to go and so she got shot of them.  Tsk, tsk, agism?  Really?   She should remember she is getting on as well, as most of her supporters are.   "Old Australia" describes her and what she claims to believe in. Mechie.   It also describes what you believe in, it seems.   Hanson wants to hold Australia back and make it less than reliant on it's own abilities.   She and you don't seem to have noticed the last 50, let alone the last 20 years.   Australian society has moved on.  Asians represent no threat to Australia.   Muslims represent little if any threat to Australia.    Australian society has grown up from the days where we distrusted everybody who stepped off the boat.   Tsk, tsk.   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

There is a test di ckhead. She shouldn't have apologised.

Dermal testing of vaccines for children at high risk of allergies.

Author information

Abstract

Vaccinations for children with allergic diseases often need to be postponed or terminated because of the presumed risk of an immediate-type allergic reaction such as anaphylaxis. A new skin test protocol for predicting allergic reactions using the vaccine itself and the following stepwise vaccination method were developed and tested. Intradermal tests using 1:10 and 1:100 diluted measles vaccine indicated that the former was superior to the latter because a positive reaction against 1:10 diluted vaccine was found in 28.6% of 49 patients with severe allergic diseases including bronchial asthma, atopic dermatitis, food allergies and allergies to two or more allergens with high levels of IgE, as compared with the reaction against 1:100 diluted vaccine in 10.2% of the patients. Patients negative for 1:10 skin tests were safe from the following full-dose vaccine shots. Three patients showed very strong local reactions against measles vaccine, and avoided receiving the following full-dose shot. Positive reactions to skin tests of 1:10 diluted vaccine were found in 11 patients, who were given stepwise vaccinations. Three patients had adverse reactions, and two of them had been negative for 1:100 skin tests. In the case of influenza vaccine, skin tests were again more sensitive to 1:10 than to 1:100 diluted vaccine, because 3 out of 14 patients with positive reactions showed immediate-type adverse reactions against the following stepwise vaccinations, and 1 of them was negative for the 1:100 skin test. Moreover, the results of the skin prick test (undiluted vaccine) and the intradermal skin test (1:10 diluted vaccine) indicated that the latter was more useful in both cases of measles (54 patients) and influenza vaccine (69 patients). Overall, the skin test using 1:10 diluted vaccine was the more suitable for predicting an immediate-type reaction to measles and influenza vaccinations. Patients having negative 1:10 skin tests can be expected to show no adverse reactions to the remaining injections and even the positive subjects will complete the course of vaccine doses by the stepwise method.

She's capable of learning and of admitting mistakes, which puts her head and shoulders above most people here.

That's not praise for her, that's a sad indictment of you.
