This is going to take strong, bold, controversial decisions but in order to rebuild a shambling wreck you need to get rid of everything that has weakened it in the first place and turned it into something of a sad former shadow of its vibrant self.
Think of it in terms of a grand house that is infested with white ants. You need to drive those pests out so the re build can begin.
That rebuild has already started Just checked the debt clock, just to see the greatness. Turns out its still going up. and he wants to drop tax revenues by 60% plus build a $20B wall and radically increase military expenditure.... that has a cost of $4T A YEAR. Worked for President Reagan, he did all that, except for the wall, which BTW Mexico will pay for....like it or not...., & because the economy responded positively to Reagan's economics, the US actually took in more revenue than before the cuts because of his economic policy. .......Cutting federal income taxes, cutting the U.S. government spending budget, cutting useless programs, scaling down the government work force, maintaining low interest rates, and keeping a watchful inflation hedge on the monetary supply was Ronald Reagan's formula for a successful economic turnaround..... Reagan an Trump share almost nothing in common. History, & not the likes of you, will be the judge & jury on that one keemosabee.
When President Trump signs the tax reduction bill into law, we will see the following year or two. 
Don't it griddle yer cakes that you are totally helpless to do anything to stop anything he is doing.....nothing.....nada.....zip.....zero! He will stop the immigration of so called muslim refugees.... Islamic Terrorists ...... he will build his wall, & Mexico will pay for it....you say no, but it will come out of their pocket nonetheless......he will lower taxes......he will create the policies that will put millions of Americans back to work......he will lower crime......he will incarcerate criminals.....he will strengthen gun rights.......he will deport hundreds of thousands of illegals......all this without any help or interference from anyone here on this forum, or anyone here in Australia.......period........Don't it griddle yer cakes
