The Democrats most certainly did not take them for granted, Honky.

Why did this opening passage bear no relation to the rest of it?

Please stop arguing for the sake of arguing.

The Democrats halved unemployment and paid off some of Bush's deficit.

I'm not sure why you're arguing. I'm not.

The so called "rust belt" states were the ones that flipped to Trump, delivering him victory.  They weren't even visited by the Clinton campaign because they took them for granted.

Stop arguing for the sake of arguing.

they flipped to trump because he was different. He wasn't a politician. they turned to him in desperation ............. but doing things in desperation often leads you into more trouble.

Okay.  So why would they be in "desperation" if their needs and concerns had been addressed by the previous administration?

their needs and concerns hadn't been met by ANY administration, democrat or republic.

And?

One thing that Donald Trump has succeeded in.

He has called out the main stream media for the lying faking cheats that they are.

They tried so desperately to make him look like the anti Christ..but all they succeeded in doing was making him more popular.

"more popular"?

What colour is the sky in your world, red?

Trump is the least popular incoming President in modern history.

Moreover, he received 3,000,000 less votes than Clinton.

"Not since the mid-1970s has a president-elect been so unpopular"

"Trump is least popular incoming president since 1940s"

"Trump most unpopular incoming president in decades: polls"

"Second week of 'Resist Trump' protests"

"More anti-Trump protests slated for Super Bowl week"

Well that is hardly surprising.

Why would anyone from Donald Trump's administration want to appear on the Clinton News Network ???

Even that is a stretch ... the only thing one can argue is that trump gave them some sort of hope that he'd do things differently.

In my opinion it's misguided hope, but when people are desperate they'll listen to anything. Charlatans have been coning people out of good money for years using that very principle.

Sure.  And if their concern had been addressed they wouldn't want things done differently.

So where's the stretch?

Oh OK.  The nonstop outrage cycle since the election must be because the left are upset that he hasn't addressed anything.  No wall, no "muslim ban", no nuffin.

No John, they voted for Donald Trump because he went to where they lived, he listened to what they had to say. On the contrary Hillary Clinton couldn't have given a sh.t what they had to say or what their situation was. She didn't imagine in her wildest dreams that her gross ignorance would end up in costing her office.

Stiff el sh.tto Hillary I would conclude
