America has a proxy war with these countries. It makes sense to vet people coming in from these countries.

Logic confuses liberals.

VET... your own word. But Trumps idea was nothing more than a BLANKET BAN. do you even know the difference?

Whatever words you use, whatever dictionaries you use, how you parse your words, etc...etc...etc

Any Sovereign & Independent Country has the perfect & legitimate right as such, to "VET" any non-citizen, or even Citizen upon entry or reentry into the said Sovereign & Independent Country, in any way they deem fit &/or necessary for National Security.

They don't need, nor should they permit, World Intrusion, Approval, or Consensus on how to construct their laws or implement their procedures especially when dealing with potential National Security issues. One's National Security is not negotiable, nor subject to legal scrutiny from any other Nation or Organization outside it's own borders.

And, in the end, if they see fit to "BAN" any group or entity, they have the perfect right to do so without approval.....providing they are doing so in the best security interests of their own people/citizens as a whole, for whom they have an ultimate responsibility to.

The courts disagree with you 3-0.

Sorry, if you misinterpreted my response to the other delusional fellow lostweekend58, as a negative reply to you....not so....the thread is about the supposed "Muslim Ban"....which doesn't actually exist, but it is more aptly a "Terrorist Ban".

The left errantly calls it a "Muslim Ban" in order to muster some self-serving rallying cry to the ignorant oppressed, so to gather supporters that think there is some religious persecution going on....which is also just a red herring. Yes, Trump signed the order, but his doing so is not in question.

The order itself, & a Nations Right to make such an order, is in question.

That was not really my point which is that Trump is not the Sovereign Nation ~ United States of America, much as it is obvious, he wishes he was. He is learning that he is not King and that he cannot just issue edicts as President and not have them challenged at Law.

It is a (targetted to some Sovereign Nations) Muslim ban. To call it a terrorist ban is just rubbish. What better proof do you need other than that Saudi Arabia (9/11) is not on the ban list.
