Buy US 'guns'
Jan 28th, 2017 at 7:10pm

Trump has made it plain that the US will not come to the aid of an ally who has not kept its military capacity current and capable.

If that is not him telling us to buy US 'guns' or bugger off?

No Aussie. He's telling countries to start sticking up for themselves more and stop 100% relying on the US. That's a fair cop.

trump has made it clear that he's not going to carry bludgers....

so put in your 2% GDP that you agreed to do or farrrrrk off..

at this point in time there's only 5 signatory countries that are doing this.. .

time to start walking the walk...

Hope Australia buys its 'guns' from Europe then.  Will Trump be happy about that?  Nah.  He wants Nations to buy US 'guns.'  Clear as a bell to me.

About 80% of our Navy weapon systems are from Israel, our FA-18's use lots of Israeli technology our Heron remote piloted aircraft (drones for the drongos) are made in Israel.
I would guess our Army uses Israeli optics for thermal imaging etc.

Here is a joystick controlled 25mm gun our Navy uses, it's accurate and just like playing a video game, the USA also uses this Israeli technology.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Typhoon_Weapon_Station

Got a link where Trump wants us to buy US guns, the USA ask Israel not to sell their technology to many countries perhaps this is why they get compensated for restraint of trade

Lithgow arms are starting to export semi auto versions of this rifle to the USA, we cannot buy them here I wonder if the Aussie hoplophobes will object to us selling these semi auto rifles in the USA.

I can't watch that YT atm.

I'm v. low on 'juice' [monthly data allowance] on my plan, until Feb.

.

IMO, it is a great shame that peaceful and law-abiding [crime conviction-less] Aussies cannot buy something like that Lithgo F90 bullpup.

Living in a very dangerous world,          it is a great folly, imo, for almost all Australian citizens to be unarmed and untrained, in the safe use of firearms.

Google;
henry lawson, every man should have a rifle
