Imagine using some fat f#ck kids to advertise KFC. Who'd a thunk that'd work?

Well I must agree with you there- it is a bit strange- maybe back then they weren't so health conscious and being a bit porky was not the big no no it is now. Sad

Not too many were porky back then. We had very few fat kids when I went to school, look at them now!

Remember 'the fat kid from hey dad'?
Look at a pic of him and now comparatively he doesn't look so fat.

Stopped eating KFC?

No i mean what he looked like then.  He looks a bit heavy but nothing really unusual.  Even the Asians in Sydney are getting chunky.

Probably all the fat shaming he got bearing fruit! Grin
How would it be growing up being called "the fat kid from Hey Dad"?

I'm feeling a little too slim, I'm throwing a couple of Lamb loin chops into the pan and grabbing another beer.

Calling people wogs, fat shaming was all good fun then.
We're too sensitive now.

Universities are even  banning clapping because it's a trigger  Smiley

“@nuswomcam please can we ask people to stop clapping but do feminist jazz hands? it’s triggering some peoples’ anxiety. thank you!” Oxford representatives wrot

My gardens are doing so well that my beans are building leaves instead of beans.... come on, guys!  I don't pay you for leaves!  Tomatoes are good, and the lettuce are fine - the squash ($12 a kilo at the stupormarket) are raging, beside the egg plants.. spinach is racing after two days of rain.... potatoes are taking their time like the onions....

It has been a hot, humid summer. But there has not been very much rain. There has been no cyclones in the Coral Sea this season. That is a rarity. Perhaps there is to be a late charge with rain for February. But at the very least, the western regions have been getting decent rainfall totals.
