Just before Barack Obama walked out of the Whitehouse for the last time, he instructed Secretary of State John Kerry to release $221 million to the Palestinian Authority. Like a thief in the night, Kerry formally notified Congress that State would release the money Friday morning, just hours before President Trump took the oath of office.

President Trump ordered the State Department to review the last-minute release of the funds by Kerry, which was done over Congressional objections. The department said it would look at the payment and might make adjustments to ensure that it conforms to the Trump Administration’s policies.

In just over a 10-week period during the transition, Barack Obama has transformed himself into a one-man wrecking ball. It is astonishing to watch just how much damage one man can inflict during such a short period of time. In fairness, Obama had some assistance from his dim-witted sidekick, Secretary of State John Kerry, who dutifully obeyed his master’s orders.

Congress had initially approved the Palestinian funding in budget years 2015 and 2016, but at least two GOP lawmakers, Ed Royce of California, the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and Kay Granger of Texas, who sits on the House Appropriations Committee, had placed holds on it over moves the Palestinian Authority had taken to seek membership in international organizations. Congressional holds are generally respected by the executive branch but are not legally binding after funds have been allocated.

Granger released a statement Tuesday saying, “I am deeply disappointed that President Obama defied congressional oversight and released $221 million to the Palestinian territories.”

She added: “I worked to make sure that no American taxpayer dollars would fund the Palestinian Authority unless very strict conditions were met. While none of these funds will go to the Palestinian Authority because of those conditions, they will go to programs in the Palestinian territories that were still under review by Congress. The Obama Administration’s decision to release these funds was inappropriate.”

So, what’s new about the Obama Administration having behaved Inappropriately? His only motive was to jab Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the eye and fund Israel’s enemies on his way out the door

This funds were said to be designated for humanitarian aid, but there is no binding agreement on how the money will be used. The Palestinians will repeat history and funnel the funds to its terrorist’s networks. Instead of going for schools, roads and hospitals, the money will be funneled to Hamas for tunnels, bombs, and guns.

He will be gone in 18months, but his execution will need to wait for a new president.

Those Mexicans in the US who are paying their taxes will be funding it over the next few decades.

If what he does is a glaring improvement on several fronts, then even those who voted against him will bring him in for another term.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that Forty-three percent (43%) disapprove.

The latest figures include 42% who Strongly Approve of the way Trump is performing and 33% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of +9

At least 10% of the $220m, which it now seems Trump has definitely stopped, was destined for convicted terrorists and the families of deceased terrorists . . .or as Gandie would probably prefer, freedom fighters.
