An astute point!

This implies you think the majority of Australians support Trump, however?!!?

can you think of a better one..

one where the majority vote wins will do me for starters.

Fine, but we don't have it in OZ so if you would like the US to change theirs, would you want majority vote here?

I assume you're talking about First Past the Post when you say "majority vote"

I don't care what the US does. I was asked what system would be better and I gave my opinion. As far as I'm concerned the US can do what they like, I'm only interested in the entertainment value of their politics.

And majority vote means majority vote. I don't mind preferential voting, as long as the person with the most votes at the end, wins. There is something seriously wrong with democracy when the majority of people vote one way and they still lose.

What we have here, is a failure to communicate. Cool hand Luke quote.

No if you had said people voted for Trump because they are concerned about losing their jobs and think he could get them back, thats a reasonable argument to make. But the cultural Marxism drivel?

Thats why you arent taken seriously.

See how it plays out , getting tired of a minute by minute update on what he is doing by our media , let's concentrate on the immense failure that is the Liberal party , the merican voters had a choice of two chit candidates

No, Homo's not taken seriously on employment and politics because he doesn't work and he doesn't vote.

He peers through his mother's curtains on bin night.

That's the extent of Homo's social engagement right there.

That makes Melania sad.

She's a prisoner in a loveless marriage.

Sad.

it is a good question. Why would any Australian support Donald Trump and his 'america first' policies? After all, Trump will not help us and if necessary, would crush our economy in an instant if it suited his purposes - and has said as much.

The Aussies here who support Trump are white, male, middle-aged and American wannabes. Trump is their avatar for all their hate, racism, xenophobia and a way to deflect from their personal failures as men. What more is there to know?
