But why would you care?  Once you've been triggered, your mind closes to all new information.  Your amygdala has been hijacked, and your emotion becomes your entire reality.

As has yours in what could be a good example of cognitive dissonance...

As you've invested so much emotional energy defending Trump, even the 'Hail Mary' of a spin doctor is now also worthy of your time and effort defending, and even after it became clear that Spicer (likely self-admittedly) screwed up his 'mission' (which to be fair he was never going to accomplish).

Not really.  It is ambiguous in writing, which is not terrific for a media spokesman but its hus first day, so i think a reasonable person woild firgive a musplaced comma.  He did speak it, not write it so its quitr understandable.  A reasonable person can see the intended meaning and doesnt sweat it.

Remember the habits of highly effective people - first seek to understand then be understood?  In contrast the habit of leftist drones is first seek to be outraged, then be outraged some more.

Also cognitive dissonance doesnt mean what you think it means.  It is simultaneously holding two contradictory opinions.  There us nothing contradictory here besudes maybe your reponse, whereby you seemigly accept my explanation, but only so you can use it in a "no you are" gambit.

Well, that's where even his friends' opinions might depart from yours (maybe even Spicer's himself)...

Those would be 2 skills (seeking to understand and be understood) that Trump himself would be unlikely to score highly on, I'd bet...

Longweekend doesn't get it. surprise surprise.

Anybody who could, would have already.

you don't get it

this was a non issue. No one would have said a thing if after his inauguration speech, when he was told what the actual numbers were, he admitted he had been given the wrong information or made a mistake, or some such bullsh1t  .. this would have been forgotten by now.
The fact that trump is still carrying on like a petulant child goes to his character, or lack thereof.

Nobody knows what the actual numbers are, which is why thidssong and dance about "facts" is so misguided.  I can tell you havent even bothered to familiarise yourself with what was said, bug why would you?  Its not facts youre interested in, its dopamine.

Its 2 minutes of hate, nothing more.

have another look at the photo I put up yesterday ... regardless of the actual final numbers were, it's blatantly obvious to even a blind man that he did not get any record attendance.

Of course he didn't.

He's the least popular incoming President in modern history, and he's getting less popular every day.

Two years, max.

What is exponentially more revealing than this (non)issue could be in any other way, was Trump's pressing of the (non)issue with David Muir, exposing Trump's fractured personality and his infantile need to be liked...

The babyish, hyperbolic / begging language of it...

There was:

Part of my whole victory was that the men and women of this country who have been forgotten will never be forgotten again. Part of that is when they try and demean me unfairly 'cause we had a massive crowd of people. We had a crowd -- I looked over that sea of people and I said to myself, "Wow."

And I've seen crowds before. Big, big crowds. That was some crowd. When I looked at the numbers that happened to come in from all of the various sources, we had the biggest audience in the history of inaugural speeches.

Then

Therefore I won't allow you or other people like you to demean that crowd and to demean the people that came to Washington, D.C., from faraway places because they like me.

Read this carefully.

Hint:  all the various sources.

proven facts are now lies

Whats been proven?  How do you know it wasn't the most witnessed inauguration ever?

To cut this short - You don't.  And you don't care.

You've got your dopamine hit from the 2 minutes of hate, and it feels good for now.  But I'm starting to worry about you - that 2 minutes has stretched out to about a year now.  Maybe it's time to check into rehab.

That's not how evidence and proof work.  You can'tmake a ludicrous claim like 'all political leaders are reptiles in human bodies' and then say that it is true unless disproven.

You and your dumbed-down Trumpoids have made a provable stupid statement and are unable to prove it. When you can come up with some proof beyond your circle-jerk fantasy then come back and let us know.

He addresses it with numbers in a link I posted.
But why would you care?  Once you've been triggered, your mind closes to all new information.  Your amygdala has been hijacked, and your emotion becomes your entire reality.

ironic to say the least. AS a trumpoid, you rely entirely on Trump for you informatino and beliefs.  facts never enter into it.

Its clear he cannot hear himself, which makes introspection difficult...

Maybe the best metaphor of how it might feel could be talking with your head half-submerged in water... Enough to cover the ears...

Its clear that you guys are reluctant to face the mechanisms by which youre being manipulated.

I dont know why i still try to help those who would happily see me exterminated, but still i do.
