To be fair to Spicer, by many accounts he was put in an impossible position by his master...

Spicer is apparently well known to (and was reasonably respected by) Washington journalists.

What we witnessed was Spicer being ordered to make an embarrassment out of himself by parroting the language of Trump's psychiatric obsession with his own perceived popularity...

Of course Spicer couldn't pull it off... Who could?

...

It was Trump who went on to 'assure' us that as he'd seen big crowds before (like all the rest of us live in a village), his was the greatest crowd number in the history of inaugurations.

I bet you'd love to switch places with him.

You are a bottom who swallows, aren't you (just like Spicer)?

And you're still here scumbag.

Spicer is a clown who was put in the impossible position of trying to defend a provable lie. He should have admitted the truth and worn the consequences because at some point in time he is going to have to admit truth or he will get ignored by the PRess Corps.

it is an indictment on Trump that he still goes on about the inauguration numbers when is is so obviously and painfully lying.

And there'd be only 2 obvious reasons why Spicer would be able to even attempt to sell this kind of 3rd rate bullshit ... Money and career security... After all, aren't they the primary reasons anyone would likely do it?

Yes inescapably ambiguous, which was subsequently cleared up.  If there was a problem, it has been solved.

Those who see anything Trump related as a symbol of hate huffed and puffed, those who don't weren't worried. And why would they be?   They don't know that it wasn't the most widely witnessed inauguration ever, nor would they care if it was.

The answer is that it is is not authentic outrage,  it is a conditioned response.  Your media masters, the arbiters of all that is true and good, presented a text one way, which the lap dogs uncritically accepted as the word of god, because it fit their preconceived (preconditioned) notions, then started barking, without even knowing what they were barking at.

We both know that me asking you for "the facts" was the first time you actually looked into what you were outraged about.  It's why you dragged your feet so long, and couldn't state what your problem was in your own words.

All you knew before then was that your symbol of hate had been flashed.  Your amygdala does not ask questions, it just reacts, and consumes you because the rest of the mind was not present nor powerful enough to analyse the threat and response, and put into perspective.

ah... the trumpoid response to anything...  Lots of words, lots of huffing and puffing and ultimately, saying nothing other than to repeat a lie that the rest of the word is laughing at.

There's nothing 'to get'. It is just you and your trump-loving crowd pretending that proven facts are now lies. It is embarrassing for you to be part of such a circle-jerk.

Whats been proven?  How do you know it wasn't the most witnessed inauguration ever?

To cut this short - You don't.  And you don't care.

You've got your dopamine hit from the 2 minutes of hate, and it feels good for now.  But I'm starting to worry about you - that 2 minutes has stretched out to about a year now.  Maybe it's time to check into rehab.

That's not how evidence and proof work.  You can'tmake a ludicrous claim like 'all political leaders are reptiles in human bodies' and then say that it is true unless disproven.

You and your dumbed-down Trumpoids have made a provable stupid statement and are unable to prove it. When you can come up with some proof beyond your circle-jerk fantasy then come back and let us know.

He addresses it with numbers in a link I posted.
But why would you care?  Once you've been triggered, your mind closes to all new information.  Your amygdala has been hijacked, and your emotion becomes your entire reality.
