evolutionary psychology can tell us a lot.
east asians were mainly rice farmers, they had to help each other do the harvest, no one could come and steal your rice crop during the night so strangers were not much of a threat, they tended to be very patient and methodical people who are good neighbours.
other nationalities tended to be goat, sheep or cattle herders. here , you were constantly very suspicious of any neighbour who might steal your flock, you tended to have a survival advantage if you "shot first and asked questions later", you needed to be a hot head and violence surved you well.
if we look at the goat and sheep herders and cattle herders we see the people of greece , italy, sicily, the arab world and the middle east, north africa, the scottish highlanders, the welch, somalia, afghanistan.
if we are going to import people to live in our neighbourhoods, we should go for the best genetic stock, the people with the "neighbourly" DNA running in their veins. i dont know if this guy is greek or middle eastern or whatever...but i'll bet you he's not south korean or taiwanese
